We stayed at the apart hotel eara for three nights. We were a married couple, a 15 month old child and a 60ish mother-in-law, quite a mix of people and hard to please (especially the mother in law!). We checked in early (without reservation) and the staff were friendly and very accomodating. They were always helpful especially with booking taxis (the hotel is a hilly 25min walk for the centre of town, so a taxi is adviseable, though not a necessity). They were also happy to bring breakfast to the room, which was a nice touch. The apartments are on two levels with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a living room / kitchen downstairs. The decor is basic, but nicely done and functional. The kitchen is well equiped with everything you might need for a short stay and the condition of everything was good. Both the living room and the bedroom have balconies and the view is spectacular. The lower balcony is accesible from the small lawn which is in front of the five apartments via some stone steps. The fact that the hotel is out of the city centre is actually a bonus as the area is quiet and the views beautiful. the only negative thing we would have to say is that the balconies and the steps up to the lower balcony are not todler friendy (big gaps in the balcony rail and no handrail on the steps). however, this in no way detracted from the pleasant experience of staying at the eara. Also, the pool is not huge, more for a dip than a swim. If you want a relaxing time in a quiet clean place with friendy staff, you could not go far wrong here. Even my mother-in-law enjoyed herself!
