“Good hostel”

I really recommend that hostel, nearby the market , main square and all the amenities ! Good breakfast included ( tea coffee bread cereals ... ) , good wifi and kitchen and the staff is super cool , they give all the things to do around !!

This is my second visit, first was several years ago. Last time I was in a private double. It has gone downhill in quality. The staff was is great! The women working there were very helpful, the guy could use some training from the women. The rooms was fine but just felt shabby old peeling paint. Door lock that a screw driver might open. The bathroom was very disappointing. Greasy floor the shower would not drain, and felt gross barefoot. You jad to lower the pressure tonget hot water, but then you are hugging the wall to get wet. The water splashes all over the floor. The bday leaked more water in the floor then it did in the bowl(i was seeing if it worked). When they came to clean they made the bed and took out the trash. No cleaning done. The internet did work in my room this trip, but yes kept disconnecting and had to reenter password over and over. The breakfast white toast dense croissants tea bags but no water(i guess heat up tap water in microwave) froot loops. No utensils set out for butter and jam. I did not want breakfast on second day, but leaving early to airport and it was the same setup. The good part is location! And it is super cheap. The staff is friendly and in the end it is a place to rest my head, the air conditioning works too. I dont think I will return, just felt gross in the shower. My feet still feel grimey. I remember years ago in the double there was no spalsh for the shower and the whole floor would be wet(ther was a large squigey)

The location of the hostel was good. We had a private double room and the first impressions was not great. The bathroom was so small and the shower was basically a tap running from a shower head. The location of the hostel was good. We had a private double room and the first impressions was not great. The bathroom was so small and the shower was basically a tap running from a shower head. The shower had no tray it was a tiny wet room which made the whole bathroom wet. The breakfast was very minimal and we didn’t bother having breakfast our 2nd day. We booked the half day wine tour through the hostel which we enjoyed and the tour was great. Very basic hostel, not sure if we would stay here again.

We choose the hostel as it was by far the cheapest option for a double room in Mendoza. We choose the hostel as it was by far the cheapest option for a double room in Mendoza. The room was comfortable but really in need of decorating and updating, like the rest of the hostel, and the shower although hot wasn't very strong so it took much longer to shower each day. Staff were fine but we got given the wrong information quite often so we'd not bothering asking them after a few times. The free breakfast would be fine for most backpackers or budget travellers. Location was good with plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby.

You really do get what you pay for but I really cannot complain for the price we paid. We had a pleasant double room. There is no WiFi in the rooms but only in the common area and is not very good,.. but you can always head to one of the many McDonald’s for that!! The breakfast was great, it was nice to have a change from just bread and butter to have croissants and cereal available. The only issue we had is when we checked in for our double room they put us in a room with a bunk bed which was dirty... we changed the following day to a much superior room. We weren’t given any discount for the inconvenience of changing despite the fact they hadn’t prepared the correct room for us...
