We had an amazing stay at the Iguazu Grand Resort. Travelling with two adults and two kids (ages 10 and 5), we opted for a Master Suite King. It was HUGE and beautiful. When we arrived, they already had the living room sleeper sofa set up as a bed and had also brought in a separate single bed. The master suite and ensuite bath were very large, well appointed and clean. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable - we all slept very well. The pools and resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Definitely lived up to the photos. After a tiring day exploring the falls, it was amazing to relax at these beautiful, calm pools. There are three that cascade into each other - each somewhat deeper than the previous. Great for kids of different ages/abilities and the adults too. I purposefully chose this resort, not just for its looks, but also proximity to town, thinking that it would be good to try some restaurants off of the resort. In the end we ended up eating every single meal during our 3 night stay - except one - at the resort. The included breakfast buffet was great, with lots of options. The regular menu was the same for lunch and dinner, but there were plenty of delicious choices for the adults and the kids (be sure to try the local pacu fish - so good - and I'm pretty sure the plain, buttered noodles my 5 y/o ordered were hand made). The hotel is about 25-30 minutes from the airport and the entrance to the Argentinian side of Iguazu falls. It's just minutes from the border crossing into Brazil, so visiting both parks from this location are quite convenient. We met a taxi driver at the airport who came and picked us up each day to take us to the falls, but I'm sure the resort could also organize transportation. When I booked our reservation, I did not realize that the resort also has a casino, and honestly I was pretty disappointed that I had missed that. But we did not experience any negative impact from the casino whatsoever - no noise, no smoke smell, no rowdy crowds, nothing. In fact, it was barely noticeable (except when driving up, which did make me cringe slightly). Overall, I think the resort could use some updating or refreshing, but it's hard to put my finger on exactly what. For the price, I think it was an incredible deal and we had a fabulous time. Again, the curb appeal is definitely lacking, but once inside, the resort shines. I would love to visit again some day. It was a truly memorable experience.

⸻ We just spent 4 nights at the Iguazú Grand in Misiones, Argentina and had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was consistently great with a nice variety of dinner options. They have a gym and Spa. I personally had 2 full body massages that were amazing. The pool area is large and surrounded by beautiful foliage, making it a perfect place to relax. The location is also very convenient — about 30 minutes from the airport, 40 minutes from Iguazú Falls, and only 10 minutes from the Brazilian border. A fun bonus is the casino next door, which adds another entertainment option in the evenings. Overall, a great choice for comfort, location, and service when visiting the Iguazú area.

This is a beautiful hotel- extensive grounds with lots of plantings (I had a lily pond with koi outside my window). The bath had a bidet. Decor a bit dated but very good quality (marble floors in bathroom). Signage to rooms was scarce- we took the nearest elevator and room numbers stopped at a value below our room numbers! The elevator we needed was a bit of a walk. A few technical quirks: no USB ports and no electrical outlets near the bed at all unless you unplug the bedside lamp. Could not control the AC despite the thermostat- room stayed at 21 C. Too cold. Wi-di access is via a QR code displayed at the desk- but I had to key it into my laptop, which did not have a QR code reader! Resort setting about 30 minute walk from downtown. Casino attached-I did not visit. Excellent breakfast including omelets made to order, beautiful pools.

We stayed here for a couple of nights over Christmas. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The indoor pool could do with some TLC but the water was lovely and warm. It was a problem obtaining towels. The breakfast choice was a little limited but the food was good. The outside pool area is lovely and the pools a nice temperature. The buffet dinner on Christmas Eve was very well done although most of the hot food was lukewarm at best and it took a long time for some dishes to be replenished. Dinner the next day the service was very slow. In summary good location, friendly staff and good size rooms. Would recommend if in the area.
