“Great view ”
Great budget friendly place on top of a hill overlooking the lago argentino. Rooms are a bit basic but very clean, staff is friendly and partially speaks English. Views are just amazing. The last part of the access road is unpaved but ok to drive.

We stayed here last January and it was great. It's on a hill so it's very window but the views are BEAUTIFUL. It's not right in the center of town but it's a nice walk to get there, great spot to stay for getting picked up to go on tours to the glaciers. We had a double room which was spotless. … more

We stayed for a week in Fuerte Calafate divided between leisure and work. First of all, it's not in the center but for us it was perfect, the view from the hotel and your room it's incredible and it's so much better than staying in the city center.
