“Spacious apartment, good location”

The apartment was huge, although being just a couple and having booked for two people, we were not allowed to use the second bedroom or bathroom. The living area was spacious, with breakfast bar to the kitchen which had basic supplies (eg cling film, salt and pepper) which was a welcome addition. WE used the pool one evening but it wasn't huge and only part of the pool deck still had sun. Good location for walking out and about in Port Mac. Although overlooking (between apartment and the sea) a holiday park we didn't suffer with too much noise from it

“Fantastic location and views!”

Fabulous location and views from the apartment. Spacious 3 bedroom apartment with kitchen and two bathrooms. Minor issues with apartments being an older style but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to lots of excellent cafes and restaurants and boat tours. River on your doorstep and the beac… more

“A standard all of its own”

It’s a bit odd…feels like a tired 1980’s hotel in Kazakhstan. We were given room 205 - broken door in second bedroom. It won’t open. It is summer! The beds weren’t made & dirty linen was piled up in the hallway. So, they gave us 207. Cleaners had washed a load of cleaning cloths and rags in the Roo… more

It’s a bit odd…feels like a tired 1980’s hotel in Kazakhstan. We were given room 205 - broken door in second bedroom. It won’t open. It is summer! The beds weren’t made & dirty linen was piled up in the hallway. So, they gave us 207. Cleaners had washed a load of cleaning cloths and rags in the Room washing machine! They were still in the machine! The fans in the bedrooms don’t work unless the light is on..so on a hot summer night, in 205 you can’t open the door and in 207, you have to sleep with the light on if you want to use the ceiling fans. Bizarre! Staff are friendly. Good location and we got a good price. We’d visit Kazakhstan again but take cleaning fluids for the washing machine before you use it!!

“Average stay”

We stayed in room 205. Large courtyard but a view direct over main traffic area and Port Pacific Resort looking in. I asked for room with a view and paid $1400 four nights. We stayed in room 205. Large courtyard but a view direct over main traffic area and Port Pacific Resort looking in. I asked for room with a view and paid $1400 four nights. Was told they were completely booked out. I never saw a soul at the pool nor near lifts so who knows. The 2nd bedroom sliding door did not open so fresh air was not obtained. I have many health issues and like being able to have fresh air circulating. A gentleman from reception came up to the room and after a few unwelcome profanities (bit unprofessional?) decided yes the door wouldnt open and to us it needs a new lock, which I hope they attend to. We have stayed before here. It is a good location, secure and basic clean. We had to wipe the interior grills on screen door, they were covered in mould or dirt. The rest of the apartment was clean, although the cupboard where toaster was had breadcrumbs in it. A simple wipe out from cleaner? The pool is heated and has very hard plastic sun lounges. If you are thinking of staying here make sure you request a room with a view as room 205 was not great. Would I stay again? No, it is too expensive for what we got.
