There are two entrances, one on George Street, the other on Sussex Street. There is a bus stop 30 meters from the George street entrance. The buses take you to Circular Quay (5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic).

“Great Chinatown Hotel”
Stayed 2 nights and loved the place - nice rooms and great staff. Hotel has a community guest kitchen which is very useful for both tea/coffee or cooking a meal. Hotel is opposite the Chinatown light rail stop (connections to Central Station with points west such as the Fish Markets).

Stayed in a twin room with a friend for 3 nights. Fairly basic room but sufficiently clean and everything we needed for a short stay. No noise levels during the night so we had good sleep. “Brilliant ”
I stayed in this lovely hotel on my recent trip to Sydney. Location was perfect for me...light rail at the door! Great size for one person. I got there early & was able to enter my room. Staff were helpful and friendly.
