I needed a room in Sydney in this area for a couple of nights at short notice. This place was very close to where I needed to be, and at a good price. I feared that it wouldn't be top quality, but I thought it was actually pretty good. The reception desk (where I made my booking) was always manned in office hours, and the reception had some space where people waited, as well as some basic facilities and vending machines. My room was a typical small hotel room, with comfortable twin beds, fridge with tea & coffee facilities, TV on the wall & sink in the corner. The nearby shared bathroom with shower was clean and had plenty of hot water. The only real negative was that there was a bit of a smell of drains in the room, which I noticed when first coming into the room. They really should fix this.

Thought I Give A Quick Review, As I Have Seen It Has Got So Many Bad Ones. Stayed Here Last Night, 26/11/25. Myself And My Husband Had To Come To Sydney For An Appointment And Were Due To Fly Back The Same Day But Our Flight Got Cancelled, And There Was Nothing Available Until The Next Night At 9.50pm. So Cancelled Flight And Rebooked For The Morning With Different Airline But That's Another Story. Started Trying To Find A Hotel For The Night, Bearing In Mind Is Was Already 6pm Then And We Would Have To Leave At 4,30am. Now I Like A Nice Hotel But Paying Anywhere From 350.00 up to 500.00 For One Night, I Could'nt Justify It. Also, As We Had To Pay A Lot More For The Flights, We Rebooked.Well My Husband Came Across Newtown Cozy Stays And Got Me To Book It. Neglected To Tell Me Until We Were Nearly There That Is Was A Share Bathroom. But Anyway We Arrived About 7pm The Young Lady On The Reception Was Fantastic As We Only Thought We Were There For The Day We Had No Phone Charges And I Needed Our Boarding Passes And Alarm But She Found Us To Behind Reception Which She Let Us Use For The Night. Also She Contacted A Pick Up Service For The Airport To Get Us At 4,30am Room Was Number 5 On Ground Floor. It Was Small But Had What We Needed. It Was Also Very Clean. The Bed was Very Comfortable The Aircon Worked Fine And Not Noisy. We Decided To Go For A Wonder And Ended Up In The Union Pub Which Is About 5 Mins Walk. What A Great Find That Was. It Is A Fine Place For 1 Night And You Dont Want To Pay Silly Money Just To Sleep For A Few Hours. But I Would Love To Come Back To King Street It Looks Very Interesting.
