“City visit”

Just a good place to stay when coming to the city to see a show. Great location close to public transport and shopping. Rooms are clean but nothing fancy but beds are comfy. Staff is friendly.

Small room but perfect for my needs. I was only in the room to shower and sleep. Nice location, safe, secure and fair price. An added touch was some fresh water bottles left for me daily. Small room but perfect for my needs. I was only in the room to shower and sleep. Nice location, safe, secure and fair price. An added touch was some fresh water bottles left for me daily. I was also given a $10 drink voucher for the bar downstairs. My room was quiet and I heard nothing from downstairs. The staff and security downstairs were very helpful and friendly. There was a large coffee station free to patrons on the stair landing. The room was clean and modern. There was perspex covering the windows so they don't open which was unfortunate because I asked for a scent free room and there were air fresheners in the room and although I brought my own sheets, they've been hanging outside to try and remove the scent permeated throughout the room and into my own sheets. I have severe chemical sensitivities so I became sick from the scent which could have been easily remedied by removing that toxic garbage before my arrival and a bit of fresh air. there was some odd caulking around one of the windows with some holes around it but the building isn't new. If you want a fancier hotel, this isn't it. If you want a budget place to rest your head a few nights run to book.

The pricing was good, the room was really tidy and the beds were very comfortable (a mattress protector and bigger sheets would be an improvement). The bathrooms were unfortunately not clean, had mould on the walls, dirty vents and the shower curtain smelt very musty, plus the toilet was so small, that it would not suit a large person) The blinds looked new, but in need of some sort of block out curtain as the lights outside lit up the room. Also very noisy due to being right in the centre of the city, next to a karaoke bar and workers starting work downstairs and early hours.
