Although check‑in was at 2:00 p.m., we arrived earlier planning to store our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was already ready, allowing us to check in early. This gave us time to rest briefly before starting our city adventure. The room was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The room looked newly painted. There were blackout curtains. The airconditioning was new and worked well. We were also touched by a lovely note from our cleaner. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a warm smile. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient. There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and the new Gadigal Metro Station was directly across the street. A Woolworths, Priceline, and Hungry Jack’s were all nearby, while the train station and light rail were only about 200 metres away. Being so central made getting around the city effortless. My mum and I stayed here many years ago, and it was wonderful to return and find that the hotel still lived up to our pleasant memories. I would stay again in the future. The room did not have a microwave, which was understandable given its compact size, though there was a small fridge that was convenient for keeping drinks cool. We were a little cautious about the surrounding area, as there were some undesirable individuals around both during the day and at night. Uber pick‑ups were also slightly inconvenient, as the front of the hotel was a bus zone with no designated ride‑share area. Additionally, the lifts felt somewhat dated. However, these did not spoil our stay.
