“Overall a good place to stay.”

Rydges Parramatta was chosen as it was central to our needs. Checkin was easy as we arrived late at night and the checkin docks were great. “GOOD”

The service and the rooms were all good. I had asked for a room on the highest floor and I did get it. (had to remind the m at the check-in but they quickly obliged.) the room was nice and quiet and I had a restful 2 nights

A bed and sofa was requested but only one huge king bed was made up. Within 10 mins of arriving a cockroach ran up the wall. We killed it and it sat on the floor for 2 days. We ended up binning it ourselves. Rooms serviced daily. Otherwise everything appeared clean although don't think the halls got vaccummed often. Bathroom very clean. Tea and coffee sachets in room but no milk so had to walk to Woolies in the morning to get some for our stay. However needing that coffe hit in the morning, we went to the lovely staff at the cafe and got our morning coffees there. The staff were lovely and were helpful when we saw them. Would I stay again.....probably would give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were short staffed in the housekeeping dept. Was a bit noisy from the street because air con didn't seem great so had to crack a window at night time though.
