We stayed here after I'd had an operation at the nearby hospital. The curtains were good blackout curtains but we faced on to the main road and there was some noise from traffic. We stayed here after I'd had an operation at the nearby hospital. The curtains were good blackout curtains but we faced on to the main road and there was some noise from traffic. They were good enough to let us check in early rather than just dropping off our luggage. There's a very good full kitchen. On the other hand, the bedding was basic for a cold night and there were no instructions for the TV, which would have been helpful, especially as the channel up button on the remote didn't work. The hill up to the hospital is pretty steep to walk.

“Looking for Uni accommodation week”

Very easy to book, price good, clean just right for 3 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment, would be fine for a family of 4 with little ones, heating good, shower pressure & heat fantastic, only down side no plug for kitchen sink, i always try & clean the kitchen as if it was my own, trays in oven still… more

Very easy to book, price good, clean just right for 3 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment, would be fine for a family of 4 with little ones, heating good, shower pressure & heat fantastic, only down side no plug for kitchen sink, i always try & clean the kitchen as if it was my own, trays in oven still greasy with foil sticking to them, had to wash them before use which was fine, other wise everything work fine noise was at a minimum so siren to the hospital, which is nice & close if you need to be there or visiting. Easy for public transport ( just get a travel card as they don't accept credit card on the buses) nice walk around the river to the city, walk on the other side (south bank) so worth it.

Chose this hotel for the closeness to a function at Figs on Sylvan a little over block away. We were pleasantly surprised at our room and inclusions such as a washing machine in bathroom & a good kitchenette, large fridge >great for a longer stay, full size electric stove, all utensils, coffee plunger ect. Lovely view from our unit of the river. Comfortable bed and pillows. Furnishings good for the age of unit. Any traffic noise level was less than we had expected Just 2 let-downs for me > 1. Mould on the bathroom tiles. (Light bleach spray before reg vacuuming to allow a little time to activate weekly , then rinse when finish unit cleaning) -- > 2. Safety concern with a loose power point fitting behind kitchen table. Be aware if room has occupied toddlers or infants crawling.. Would definitely return for another stay in Brisbane. “3 night stay for work”

These apartments are right on Coronation Drive on the Milton end of Auchenflower. They are very old and 100% no frills but are offered at a good price (I stayed 3 nights for $120 a night) in a great location on the river and have a certain rustic charm. These apartments are right on Coronation Drive on the Milton end of Auchenflower. They are very old and 100% no frills but are offered at a good price (I stayed 3 nights for $120 a night) in a great location on the river and have a certain rustic charm. Free undercover parking is available onsite. There was no one on reception when I arrived (Sunday afternoon) but it was easy to check in – they send an SMS with a code to the safe which has a room key and instructions to access the room. I did my civic duty helping a gentlemen get into his room – the poor guy had left his mobile phone in the cab and could not access his room or call anyone to get assistance, so I called the hotel on his behalf to help him get into his room. I never heard if he retrieved his phone but I sure hope he did. The apartment is a short 15 minute walk from Cribb St where my office is located (was doing a weekly commute from Sunshine Coast at the time) and also close to the Park Rd dining precinct in Milton.

We stayed here for four nights while I had surgery at The Wesley Hospital Liked · The room was clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and the shower very good. Nice well appointed kitchen. The location was very good for what we needed Disliked · The website is confusing. It says, in the accommodation section that they have "...free Foxtel ..." Yet in another section is says they don't. In The features section it states "free Netflix". with the universal remote control in our room, we couldn't even get all free to air TV. Lastly, the information compendium in the room is years out of date. It mentions using the in room phone to allow guests and rood delivery access to the building. There is no phone.
