I think that as long as you are aware that you are staying in an inner city location, you will be fine here. Yes, there can be a bit of noise from the train and street traffic, but this is to be expected given the location. The apartment was clean, and I really enjoyed the roof top pool. I didn't like that you had to go over to another building (Capitol Apartments) to check in though as this is a bit inconvenient.

We had a two bedroom apartment. We stayed for two nights. The apartment was clean and met all our needs. The staff at capital were friendly. We had a two bedroom apartment. We stayed for two nights. The apartment was clean and met all our needs. The staff at capital were friendly. I only gave a three star as mentioned in other reviews, there isn’t any reception on site. It was only a block away, but it would have been nice to have reception at our apartment. Also, even though the apartment was clean, it was dark and we had to keep the blinds closed as the other buildings were very close. With saying that, I would recommend this apartment as it was good value for money.

We arrived at 43 peel st and had no idea where to park the car so we rang reception and they said just park at the front . We walked into reception and a note was on the window saying to Check in after hours ( it was only 3 pm when we arrived) walk over to the capital . Why the receptionist failed … more

We arrived at 43 peel st and had no idea where to park the car so we rang reception and they said just park at the front . We walked into reception and a note was on the window saying to Check in after hours ( it was only 3 pm when we arrived) walk over to the capital . Why the receptionist failed to tell us this I have no idea .. we finally get our key and instructions as to where to park the car. When we reached the car park no one told us that we had to use the swab on our key to open the car park gate .. Room was clean and close to city shops . But if you want extra coffee etc too bad . Reception is not open over the weekend .. I would not stay here again .

Stayed for 9 nights. Very clean, decent sized 2 bed apt with everything you need for the stay (laundry in unit, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms). Location is fantastic. 5-10 mins walk to Southbank central. 10-15 mins walk to city centre. Loads of places to eat within a 5 min walk. Public transport close … more

Stayed for 9 nights. Very clean, decent sized 2 bed apt with everything you need for the stay (laundry in unit, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms). Location is fantastic. 5-10 mins walk to Southbank central. 10-15 mins walk to city centre. Loads of places to eat within a 5 min walk. Public transport close by. Free parking. Rooftop pool and spa. Beds not the most comfortable. No staff on site. Have to walk to Capitol 2 mins down the road for staff. Or call them of course. Said online when we booked ages ago that apt would be serviced every second day but it was serviced once. BBQ was unavailable for use which was a disappointment as we had three families staying here and we wanted a BBQ night. No gym on site. Have to walk to Capitol apts and use their gym. It's also noisy at night (traffic, trains, construction and general city noise). No remote for tv in bedroom. Overall it was a good stay for us. We were visiting from Perth for a sporting event and it suited us fine. We consider staying here again. Location is really good.
