Reception was friendly, room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. Good bathroom amenities, though no shelf in shower to put anything. I felt complimentary shampoo/soaps were a little lacking in quality, the scent was strange. Good hairdryer. Room was not serviced until very late in the day, and only one time during my 3 night stay, it didn’t matter that it was not serviced daily, but I had only an hour break in my day between 2-3pm where I would come back to the room rest and drop off my collateral, and that’s when they wanted to service my room, I had been out since 7am all 3 days at my conference. That was a tad annoying. Location was very good for my needs, attending salt house, Ollie’s and conference centre.

“Loverly View but needs updating”

View and location was great but a few things need upgrading for sure. Our level had old carpet and some places were help together by tape. Other levels looked to have been updated so we could have just had a bad level. The hotel room had no information on WiFi , no tables and chairs on the balcony!… more

View and location was great but a few things need upgrading for sure. Our level had old carpet and some places were help together by tape. Other levels looked to have been updated so we could have just had a bad level. The hotel room had no information on WiFi , no tables and chairs on the balcony! When checking in , there was no signage to say check in ! I don’t think we good what we paid for at all! The foyer was always busy but inviting. No noise from other rooms at all !

I was there for 4 nights and wished for my own bed everyday it doesn't get better. People who are into texture I CANNOT recommend. For a hotel this expensive you'd think the sheets would at least be bearable. Best thing for you to do if you want to come here is to bring pjs that cover your arms and legs. My family friend was also originally in the hotel room next to mine but they had to move rooms as the moment they walked a smell hit them. No idea what it was. They were moved to a separate room without problems though so service is great. Onto the good parts: Hotel room only has cold aircon but it's very strong if you want it to be. A bit noisy but it's bearable. The room itself is kept nice and clean. You can get free devondale milk boxes delivered with room service yum. Room comes with packets of instant tea and coffee but no kettle. The breakfast buffet ($28pp for members) has a great spread of items many many things to enjoy. I loved the herbed mushrooms on the first day but it was different on other days so there are quality differences. They have an egg bar where someone cooking it fresh for you you can get omelettes and all kinds of simple egg dishes which is cool. Items change around on different days but not everything. (Family friend had curry on one day when I didn't go) Lots of pastries and their mini croissants are fresh baked and extremely flakey and delish. They also have a juicer bar and fresh veg and fruit which is fun. They have almost everything that you could want for breakfast. Location: very close to most things, 10 min walk to everywhere whether it's to the wharf or to the nightmarket. Woolworths nearby so easy to buy stuff. One last thing that's the most impressive the hotel elevator is EXTREMELY fast no more standing there waiting for 10 minutes for the slowest elevator ever in hotels you're moving between the lobby and the 11th floor in 1-2 minutes so it's extremely convenient to go up and down stairs and to access other areas like the pool. Overall the experience is relatively good but a little limited. It'd be 4 stars but I SERIOUSLY hate the bedsheets. So lets say it's 3.5. Buffet items: (was seriously good) 🌟Bacon (half fatty half lean) Pork/beef/chicken sausage (changes per day) 🌟Miso soup (lots of ingredients to choose) White rice Salad bar Cheese and cured meat (small selection) Bread and toaster (toppings like jam, butter, syrup) Drinks station (iced tea, orange juice, apple juice) 🌟Fruit and juicer section: apple, lady finger banana, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, beetroot, grapes (there were plenty options) Grilled tomatoes 🌟Herbed mushrooms 🌟Crispy potato hashbrowns Fried Rice 🌟Pastries (mini croissant, pancakes, poppyseed cupcake, banana bread, danish pastry etc.) Lots of sauces scattered around 🌟Milk selection (Full Cream, Skim Milk, Soy Milk, Almond Milk) + teas and coffee (there is a coffee serving machine but it's even worse than the 7-11 one honestly so I just use the packets) (This is just what I remember so not everything)

“Comfortable but very tired”

Although clean and comfortable, this hotel is tired and needs a complete upgrade. The service is friendly but only mid level efficient. The food and beverage offering is also 3 star. In short, this is not a premium hotel
