“Pleasant Enough”

We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding elsewhere in Montville. Good points: the apartment was nicely furnished, plenty of parking at the rear of the property, the bathroom was spacious with a separate toilet (good if sharing with friends), comfy bedding, property was very clean... We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding elsewhere in Montville. Good points: the apartment was nicely furnished, plenty of parking at the rear of the property, the bathroom was spacious with a separate toilet (good if sharing with friends), comfy bedding, property was very clean... Not-so-good points: The property is located on the main road through Montville and very close to traffic. Traffic noise meant that sitting on the small deck was unpleasant. However, once sliding door was closed, noise was minimised. There are lots of stairs to navigate. Wifi was spotty to non-existent.

The hotel is in a nice location, and although you are on a main road once you shut the balcony door and inner door you can't hear much traffic. This is classed as luxury accommodation, however the experience overall is not luxury. The hotel is in a nice location, and although you are on a main road once you shut the balcony door and inner door you can't hear much traffic. The reception is only open short hours and then they lock the front door so you have to go around the side down a dark road at night. Also during our stay the restaurant was closed. The rooms look lovely when you walk in but on closer inspection there was dust everywhere, and they hadn't filled any of the toiletries such as shower gel in the shower. Also the wet room bathroom floods when you use it. Montville is lovely and we enjoyed our time here, but it all could have been a much better experience.

Nice view and clean room. I had difficulty with the website and accidentally booked two rooms and was refunded without any trouble. There is no lift but the man at reception carried my very heavy bag. The bathroom was a bit quirky as it was open on two sides and had two showers. There was a bli… more

Nice view and clean room. I had difficulty with the website and accidentally booked two rooms and was refunded without any trouble. There is no lift but the man at reception carried my very heavy bag. The bathroom was a bit quirky as it was open on two sides and had two showers. There was a blind that you could pull down between the bedroom and the bath room. There was a spa bath on the veranda but we did not use it. There was quite a bit of traffic noise, but it calmed down at about 8pm. Otherwise, the room was quiet and we did not hear our neighbours.
