Before I start can I ask that the manager, or whoever responds to this post refrains from repeating my good comments back to me. Its churlish and self-serving. Stayed here for two nights in a two room apartment - middle of the road kind of class. Good things - What a fantastic setting! Great welcome. Good parking Superb Lap pool....I used it 5 times over two nights. Good location Quiet setting Average things - Cleanliness - not so clean. See photos. Grubby in fact - definitely not five star. Terrible things - Advertised on Hotels.com as doing one room clean per booking. We didn't get one. Called reception. 'You booked through Expedia so you don't get one unless you stay seven days'. I said thats not what my booking says. 'Oh well. We can give you clean towels'. So be prepared that if you don't book direct, you will be treated as a second tier guest. Thats the truth - second class. $550 a night for no cleaning is ridiculous. Furniture dirty and run down. I didn't want to sit on the couch with bare skin so I used a towel to sit on. Fixtures and fittings tired. See photos. Iron broken. Generally the rooms are very dated. I suspect the hotel was built around 2007 and hasn't had an update since - maybe the carpet. Most importantly the question is, would I stay here again - not unless they refit. Would I recommend? Unsure.

This was our second stay at Peppers Noosa. While the buffet breakfast was good. That’s where things ended for us. The resort has not changed in the 8 years since our last stay. I’d describe its current state as mutton dressed as lamb - aged well on the outside but inside the apartments are tired, dark and poorly maintained/cleaned. They are in desperate need of a lick of paint, new carpeting or flooring and more regular and higher quality housekeeping. We reported the toilet in our apartment malfunctioning twice in order to have it fixed. While the staff were friendly and pleasant, there were regular breakdowns in communication particularly around how regular the housekeeping service should be. The TV in the living area was connected to Foxtel but no free to air channels which was strange. TV in main bedroom has terrible reception and could not connect to internet or streaming services. I also don’t understand why resorts in QLD don’t include fly screens on doors - some people like fresh air instead of stale air con, but it’s impossible to leave doors open because of the bugs and no screens. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and I’ve never known a 4 star resort to claim that they only provide weekly housekeeping and that guests need to ask for more toilet paper and fresh towels. That needs to be better communicated on check in. For the price you pay and being located high on a hill, this resort is simply not worth the price tag and I’m sure there are better places to stay
