The Adelaide Marriott was a wonderful surprise, and frankly, it deserves to be branded a JW Marriott. From the moment you arrive, the design sets it apart — the lobby, guest rooms, public spaces, and M Club Lounge are all executed with a level of sophistication that punches well above the hotel's category. A special mention must go to Harley at the front desk, whose professionalism, warmth, and genuine care for guests made an immediate impression. She's exactly the kind of person who elevates a stay from good to memorable. The M Club Lounge is a highlight in its own right. Open throughout the day, it offers an impressive spread of drinks and food in the evening, rounded out by excellent desserts. In the morning, the lounge breakfast mirrors much of the main restaurant's offering — just on a more intimate scale — making it a lovely, quieter alternative for those who prefer a relaxed start to the day. Staff in both the lounge and the restaurant were exceptional across the board. The suite itself was extraordinary — generously proportioned and beautifully appointed. A large living room, a dining room with a marble-top table seating eight, multiple closets, a stunning marble bathroom, a powder room, and a proper entry hall. Views over the iconic old post office tower and the surrounding Adelaide skyline complete the picture. Add in easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and shops, and the location is as good as the hotel itself.

I've been a loyal Marriott customer for many years. My wife and I recently stayed at the Adelaide Marriott Hotel for a couple of days. All I can say is WOW! The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect and the best part was the staff. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was next level. At every turn we were amazed at the service, From the concierge to the front desk and on to the restaurant, the staff was friendly, efficient and willing to go the extra mile for any and all requests. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Adelaide!

We have stayed in this hotel 3 times in the last year, the last 2 stays were in the last few weeks as we came to visit for the Fringe festival (with a brief excursion to the Adelaide hills in between). If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is probably my favourite central city hotel that I have ever stayed at. Location- perfectly positioned to walk everywhere you need in the city, with the central food market just a stones throw away. Despite its central location, we have found it to be quiet (both inside and out) and have always got great sleep here. The hotel feels safe and relaxing. We didn’t use the breakfast option as we love the food market nearby. There are also supermarkets within a quick walk. The bar area is beautiful and a great place to have a drink. The hotel can be at capacity and you just wouldn’t know. The hotel- its modern, clean and well designed. There is an abundance of lighting options in the rooms that mean the switches can take a little time to decipher but it’s nice to have a good range available. The housekeeping is impeccable- always to the same high standard and it is spotless. In room facilities are also great with a Nespresso machine, mini fridge, good range of hot beverages. Glass jug to access filtered water from the dispenser on each floor. The toiletries are also a high standard and there is a decent hair dryer (which is so uncommon). Comfy bed, nice pillows, good natural light in the rooms we used. The staff- every single one has been professional and friendly, they also cannot do enough to ensure you have a great stay and will go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. There was a slight glitch with our booking for our second stay, but this was sorted within minutes, despite the hotel being bursting with the people. It was handled brilliantly with such professionalism. The staff really are the stars of this hotel. Overall- would recommend this as the place to stay for anyone coming to central Adelaide. I wish more hotels were like this one!
