“Lovely for lunch and a quiet drink”
Lovely atmosphere, bar staff were great. The meals were really good and great value. We had the Caesar salad : fish and chips and Steak Sandwich, all were really good

“Central, decently price, friendly staff”
A decent price no nonsense place. Rooms with shared bathrooms, solid, delicious food at the pub, very central (opposite the famous market) - good opportunity to wash your cloths for 5 AUD in one hour in the washing machine. Friendly and communicative owners that solve problems.

“Dinner before "The Mousetrap"”
The Metro offer pre-orders for dinner and early service when shows are on next door at Her Majesty's Theatre. Our meals were great pub fare and came out right on time. “Decent place for a drink.”
Located on Grote Street, across from the Central Market, this pub is a nice stop on a hot day. It has a lovely decor and plenty of seating in a number of areas throughout the building and on the footpath.
