Hotel room was very spacious, nice decor, fresh good quality linen, great location. I'm not sure about value for money as our accommodation was built in to a package holiday of Adelaide. We were in room 314 and had 2 issues that were brought to the attention of reception staff. A chair with a leg that would have collapsed if sat on, and when attempting to contact reception to ask for a chair replacement, it was discovered the room telephone connection plug was broken and was not usable. We made face to face contact with reception and reported both issues (on two different occasions to two different staff members) and neither issue was fixed for the four nights of our stay. Small but inconvenient issues for us, not having room telephone might be a safety hazard for some. Given 4 stars instead of 5 because of low priority on maintenance issues

“Business Stay”

Great place to stay and close to everything that you would need. Disappointing that there is no complimentary water in the rooms. Also, disappointing that the hotel restaurant is not open every day and that breakfast service doesn't commence until 7am

“5 star experience apart from breakfast”

Superb location, and exceptionally well appointed rooms. Only downside was breakfast where a buffet option would probably work better vs limited choices and a long wait

“Majestic Roof Top Hotel”

Location, great. Lovely staff. Our room was well and consistently serviced Bar and restaurant services available were minimal. We paid for breakfast to be included, yet were restricted to a lesser menu. There is an advertised roof top venue that offers nothing.

I stayed here overnight with a friend for a short shopping trip and unfortunately had several issues during our stay. I had booked a superior room along with the Majestic Park & Stay package, which clearly included parking. At check‑in, I was told I needed to pay extra for the car park. I had to point out that I had already paid for the Park & Stay package before they accepted it. That night, when I went to bed, I pulled back the sheets and found a dried piece of what looked like bubblegum stuck in the bedding. Not something you expect to find in a hotel room. The next morning, we went to breakfast. We were already booked in at the restaurant, so on their end it looked like they were expecting us — but when I went to reception to collect the breakfast voucher, I was told I hadn’t paid for breakfast. I had added it as an enhancement, so once again I had to show my booking. I was then told the price I paid was an “old fee,” but they would honour it. After checking out, I received a receipt showing a $9.50 minibar charge for a white wine we never touched. Neither my friend nor I drink, so I called the hotel. I was told it would be refunded, but it was yet another error I had to chase up. Overall, the number of mistakes — parking, cleanliness, breakfast confusion, and minibar charges — made the stay far more stressful than it should have been.
