“Poor accountability for poor service”

We arrived with washing to do and found the washing machine out of order. Online stated an extra bed was $20 per night and we ended up being charged $65. Room service was supposed to be included, we went out all day to return and find the bed unmade and nothing restocked. When I called admin they said they would send someone up to do it, they arrived, brought new towels we didn’t ask for and didn’t even make up the bed or restock the milk. And left again! I called admin a second time and zero apology and actually said ‘if there’s anything on the bed we won’t touch it mam’. I said ‘ there was nothing on the bed and in 30 years that has never stopped a hotel making up the room even if there was!’. Finally, for a 4 star hotel, to have a plasma caravan sized tv with no streaming capability is disgraceful.

“View was not as advisertised.”

We were advised we would have a beachfront view. However our room was recessed and thus our view of the beach was approximately 70 degrees, not 180 degrees.

“Poor service”

Check in service was extremely poor. Staff overcharged and couldn't work things out as we had multiple bookings. Pool was good and rooms clean although dated. We have stayed here several times but the service this time was by far the worst we have experienced. We will reconsider if it is worth stay… more

Excellent location, great reception staff, and comfortable rooms. However, quite a bit of an ick factor as the walls in the room were heavily marked up, the couch had numerous stains on both sides of the cushions so I needed to use the bedding to sit on it, rusty and dirty floor grate, and a const… more

Excellent location, great reception staff, and comfortable rooms. However, quite a bit of an ick factor as the walls in the room were heavily marked up, the couch had numerous stains on both sides of the cushions so I needed to use the bedding to sit on it, rusty and dirty floor grate, and a constant hum of air under the front door with or without my balcony door open that I needed to put a towel at the bottom of the front door to stop the continuous whistling. Also, no soap in the shower. Each unit is individually owned so I hope all units aren't as poorly maintained as 628.
