“Perfect place to recuperate”
A last minute suggestion to soak in the views before heading home was a brilliant idea! Everything was at my fingertips and sitting, while people watching with the sun streaming in was a balm for body & soul

“Comfortable, well-located”
It’s sad to see old photos of the original fine Victorian hotel which the Stamford replaced. The hotel is 1980s so bland and non-descript but rooms are comfortable and spacious, and many, such as ours, face the sea. “Overall good and scenic accomodation”
Overall very good, however having been there quite awhile back we felt the main foyer area could do with a slight refreshing.

“Gret location but 'tired' interior”
Great location. The bars and restuaraunt are great. The prices for the rooms are okay, but the rooms are very old and tired looking, and in need of renovation/refurbishment to make it a great hotel.
