“Beautiful place with character”
Penelope made us feel very welcome. We arrived late, but she was happy to accommodate. Breakfast is a real treat with wonderful food and stories from Penelope, right beside a lovely fireplace.Beautiful old place.

“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay”
I stayed here for one night whilst visiting my dad at a local nursing home. The room was beautiful and clean with everything I needed. Bed was super comfortable and I was made to feel very welcome. “Excellent breakfast!”
Stopped in here while cycling the Tassie Trail. The new owners are incredibly hospitable and the rooms are charming. But the real show stopper was the breakfast. “Early Colonial History.”
Enjoyed the stay, historical building, old world charm in New Norfolk. BUT not wheel chair friendly, parking in the street on a steep hill, challenging access. Host was accommodating & friendly, cooked a nice breakfast for a person with type 2 diabetes.

The Inn is presently undergoing renovations but are being kept to the minumin The room was tidy , clean and homely - The breakfast was tasty with scambled eggs done to perfection About 250 metres from the town main street , in a quiet and easy location
