“Wonderful staying in Melbourne”

Spotlessly clean, excellent downtown location, all facilities convieniently located. Ideal place to stay. Only problem is no restaurant in the premises. “Average hotel but great location”

I booked this 2 bedroom apartment via Agoda while friends and I were in MEL for the aussie open. The hotel is centrally located - very close to the tram along Elizabeth St and walking distance to QVB and Bourke St Mall. Apartment is quite spacious, particularly the lounge. BUT the room with double bed occupied by 2 people is small with limited space to walk around the bed. Basically, we have to stashed our clothes in the closet and leave our luggages and clothes at the lounge as their is no space for these.The other room has single bed which has quite manageable space. The apartment is furnished with seating, dining table for 3, and a hisense TV. No internet unless you are willing to pay $10 for 12 hrs use/day. the kitchenette has cooking facilities which we liked because we cooked some breakfast during our 5 day stay at Adara. We have to request though for a fry pan as this was not provided initially. The bathroom is quite spacious but there are visible molds on the shower door and the shower area is quite small. Great and strong shower though. White Floor tiles on the kitchen and bathroom looks dirty or unscrubbed. Our room was only maintained once by housekeeping throughout our stay apart for the one day which we requested that the room be untouched. We were informed once that housekeeping will have limited housekeeping service and they provided our room with bathroom item replenishment. The last of our 3 days stay, no one knocked or no one maintained our room without any communication as to why. reception is friendly especially the guy who received us on a Wednesday night late check in. Reception is not manned 24 hours but for those arriving late like we did, you have to let the hotel know in advance. When we arrived late night, there were rowdy, noisy and obviously drunk occupants coming in and out from the hotel which disturbed us initially. We didn’t worry later on finding that the hotel entrance and elevator is secured by the hotel key card. Book this hotel if you are content with what I have described.
