We stayed here as a couple for six nights (originally booked five, but ended up extending by an extra night) and overall had a pleasant stay. The amenities block is genuinely exceptional — easily the best we’ve seen in a caravan park. Multiple ovens, a large glass-door fridge with labelled storage (very handy for transient travellers), and plenty of space make it great for cooking. There’s also a separate air-conditioned lounge area with tables and chairs, which would be perfect for anyone working remotely. A bonus for us was having the Australian Open on the TV during our stay. There is a gym onsite which looked quite new, although we didn’t use it. Next to it is a kids’ playroom with a TV that mainly plays children’s shows and movies. The outdoor movie area is adorable. During the tail end of school holidays it was mostly kids’ movies during the day and evenings, but once school holidays finished it became a great communal space for adults to watch the tennis, which created a really nice atmosphere. The pool itself is nice, however we found it a little cool and quite small for the size of the park. It was often very busy with loud kids and toddlers, so we personally didn’t find it relaxing. The spa was a better temperature and a decent size, but again frequently occupied by children. The laundry is well laid out. Washing machines are card-operated at $5 per load, dryers are coin-operated, and there’s a convenient clothesline area just outside. We booked an ensuite site and, after moving one site upon arrival, were very happy with our final spot — under a tree, on a corner, and alongside a hedge, which gave a bit of extra privacy. However, the ensuite itself is very tired and really needs updating. The shower door doesn’t close properly, some lights were not always working, the shower cubicle is tiny, and there’s no practical space to place shampoo etc in the shower. Staff were generally okay. Early in our stay we asked about extending one extra night and were told no, and that we would likely need to move to a powered site, which was delivered rather bluntly. We decided to ask again the following day with a different staff member, who was very accommodating and extended our booking without any fuss. Location-wise, it’s excellent — very close to Melbourne suburbs, around 1.4km to Woolworths and a coffee shop, with a tram stop nearby as well. All in all, a nice stay. While the ensuite sites need attention, the outstanding amenities block is a big drawcard, and based on that alone we would recommend staying here.
