A very pleasant motel set adjacent to a golf course. We had a room facing the greens and so could see people in action from early morning to evening. You can get evening meals in the gold restaurant, a 5 minute walk away, on Thursday through Saturday evenings but not other days; you get 10% off the restaurant meals if you show your room key. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice king-size bed. The kitchenette was fine for making breakfast. Parking was outside the room and there was a laundry room if you needed that. When we were there the motel had some problems with the wifi but they said they were in the process of getting it fixed. There were also problems with the hot water but again they said it was a temporary problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you arrive after 6pm then you’re told which your room is yours and where to find the key.

“BEST ROOM AND LOCATION !”

We just had a 2 night stay here and its was wonderful! Firstly I must mention it was very clean, huge room and bathroom, very nicely furnished and decorated with a beachy accent to compliment the area. We just had a 2 night stay here and its was wonderful! Firstly I must mention it was very clean, huge room and bathroom, very nicely furnished and decorated with a beachy accent to compliment the area. Great restaurant on site, serving yummy breakfast overlooking the golf course - The best way to wake up to the day ! Very quiet area and close to so many places to visit on the peninsula. We will definitely stay again!!

“Quiet location but room not as expected”

Stayed here for a one night stay, and whilst comfortable, it wasn’t what I had expected. My friend and I had booked a 2 bedroom suite, expecting, as the name suggested, 2 separate bedrooms. (We often travel together and always book 2 bedroom suites, so we have our own bedroom and a shared living space). When we arrived, it was a standard motel style room with a king size bed and bathroom, with the TV etc, then a separate room with 2 single beds. Whilst I knew we were going to be sharing a bathroom (and knew there was 1 king bed and 2 single beds), I had expected the bedrooms would be separate. In reality, for the person in the single beds room to go to the bathroom, they walked through the main room with the other bed, so there was no privacy in that room at all. The other thing that I felt was odd, was that despite the room being able to sleep 4 people, there was only one armchair to sit to watch the TV. This meant I had to sit on the bed to watch the TV in the evening. (There were dining chairs around a table, but that’s not comfortable to watch TV). When we spoke to the lady at reception on the day we arrived, she kept saying we “had a 2 bedroom suite” and couldn’t seem to appreciate that we had expected 2 separate bedrooms and said we could sit on the dining chairs to watch TV. Finally, the electrical cable on the bedside light in the single beds room was frayed. We did mention this to the receptionist on departure and she advised she would get it fixed straight away, so perhaps no-one had mentioned it previously. The location is quiet and slightly away from the main beach area, so good if you prefer a quieter location.
