We found this hotel on our way back, from an austrian motorcycle/bicycle tour checking availabilities on booking.com on the same morning of our arrival, on a very hot summer day, and we found a piece of heaven: cool shadows in an unspoiled garden, a not to modern refurbished old winery, nice pool, fantastic view of the "thermeland". Double rooms are huge with old painted furniture, cool, even in hot summer afternoons, no need for air conditioning. It is a family run hotel, staff is friendly and helpful, although dinner should be booked in advance.

My family and I had high expectations for our weekend in two of the comfort rooms, particularly given the description of the hotel’s services and the cost of our stay. While there were some positives—such as the quality of the rooms, location, and breakfast—there was a significant issue that unfortunately affected our overall experience, and no attempt was made to address it, offer an apology, or provide any compensation. The lack of internet connectivity in both of our rooms—which was advertised as available and free of charge—was a major inconvenience. We had planned to use the internet for work, as well as to relax by watching TV and using our devices, but none of this was possible. The only place we could access the internet was in the breakfast/dining area, which was far from ideal. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty by phone but was informed that nothing could be done to resolve the issue. At check-out, I was not asked whether everything was satisfactory with our accommodation. No apology was offered, nor was there any attempt to make up for the lack of this advertised service. Additionally, I was charged an unexpected "local tax" that wasn’t listed on my booking confirmation, and no explanation was provided. Not wanting to cause any trouble, I paid without raising the issue. While we appreciated the quality of certain aspects of our stay, the overall experience was overshadowed by the lack of internet connectivity and the hotel's apparent lack of concern. The hotel management is seemingly disinterested in addressing them, echoing a pattern mentioned in online reviews by other guests.
