Rooms: I believe that the high level of cleanliness of the hotel rooms deserves to be mentioned as the first thing in my review. The only "problem" was the absence of air conditioning, which would come in handy during the heatwaves. However, generally speaking, the atmosphere was very welcoming, high level of hygiene and the room was equipped with everything necessary (except for AC). Numerically: 8/10 Personnel: The personnel was friendly and helpful, although the communication in English was a bit more challenging. Numerically: 9/10 Breakfast: Reasonable selection. Numerically: 8/10 Overall: Very good; 8.5/10.

“Good comfortable hotel”

I stay here when visiting Diamond Aircraft next door. This is a good hotel for a short stay. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Good wifi in the rooms. I stay here when visiting Diamond Aircraft next door. This is a good hotel for a short stay. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Good wifi in the rooms. Located at the airport and opposite the excellent Hollers steak restaurant. Breakfast is good and on a nice sunny morning served also outside. Friendly staff.

“Fair service”

Stayed here one night. Arrived late, got a room right next to the kitchen... I asked for a change, finally got a room on first floor, apparently one of the new or recently refurbished ones. Good firm bed mattress, clean and well maintained bathroom. Wifi signal is strong. No price list for the mini… more

Stayed here one night. Arrived late, got a room right next to the kitchen... I asked for a change, finally got a room on first floor, apparently one of the new or recently refurbished ones. Good firm bed mattress, clean and well maintained bathroom. Wifi signal is strong. No price list for the minibar, an honest attempt for translating information to English, however not quite successful... Breakfast is fairly basic continental, for the price one would expect wider choice and hot food also. As always in smaller hotels, walls are thin, you can hear people walk, talk, bath, watch tv. All in all a fair service with some easy improvement opportunities.

Stayed here recently whilst on business inWiner Neustadt. A colleague made the booking for me on the basis that he’d stayed here previously when he’d visited the same customer. Essentially, it is what it is. Don’t expect luxury. It’s very basic although the rooms are clean. Rooms also have real keys on a heavy metal key ring which you rarely see these day. Don’t expect haute cuisine. Breakfast gets you going (especially the strong coffee) although is more suited to European tastes. Do expect friendly staff. The are very pleasant and speak many languages. Do expect to get your shin bashed on the wooden bed frame. I still have the scar to prove that. Do expect that you can walk to any of the businesses in Wiener Neustadt from the hotel. It is very central to the town. Also not sure if the hotel is making sure that their non-smoking rooms really are as mine suggested that somebody had been smoking in the room. So at the end of the day, it’s a 3 star regional hotel, like so many others I’ve stayed in across Europe. Would I stay again? Yes, if that’s the kind of hotel I was looking for. If you want one of the more regular global brands, the you’d probably be looking elsewhere although you’d be quite a few miles away from the town.
