We stopped here for one night after arriving at Vienna airport from Melbourne. It is basically in the middle of nowhere so you definitely need a car. However when we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the rooms were nice and clean. We fell asleep in the afternoon and slept through pretty much to morning so I can say the beds were pretty comfortable. The shower is a bit small but I now realise this is a common characteristic in these types of places. Breakfast was great with many types of bread, cold meats, cheeses, cereals and yogurts as well as tea, coffee and juices. I would recommend this place if you need somewhere to rest after a long flight.

We stayed end of October in Hotel Schwartz. The hotel was almost empty as we arrived on the Austrian national day. The hotel has 50 rooms. Our room was at the located in the back. Room #221 is spacious and modernly furnished. The bed is comfortable. Furnishing includes a work desk and a sofa. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a strangely shaped bath tub, but without shower curtain. The toilet is separate and tiny without sufficient ventilation. There was much to object. The hotel is largely spread out which required walking through often sparely lit, dark corridors. There is no smoking band and it stinks literally everywhere in the public areas. On the second floor, next to the lift, on the way to the room, I had to cross a smokers ' lounge. The restaurant was closed because of the public holiday; the sauna as well, therefore I cannot comment here. The closure of the facilities was not mentioned at the time of booking. The flat screen TV is place in an odd, making it impossible to watch comfortable TV from the bed or from the couch. There is only a log-in for the Internet access room. The breakfast room is divided into a non-smoker and a smoking room. Nonetheless, the non-smoking room was far from smoke free. The breakfast buffet was almost empty cleaned at 09:00 and replenishment was slow. The coffee of concentrate from the machine with brand «Douwe Egberts» was bitter and undrinkable. Our complaint was not addressed, because fresh filter coffee was not offered us. The products such as cold cuts and cheeses are cheapest quality found at the discount store. The hotel is located on a main road in a wooded area. There no any restaurants nearby. The friendly gentleman at the front desk helped despite national holiday to find a restaurant. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. It could be easily a nice hotel but with all the listed shortcomings, we take not the best memories home from our stay at the hotel Schwartz.
