“Classy hotel with everything you need”
We originally booked this hotel not knowing that it was on the outskirts of Salzburg. Despite that fact, we were VERY happy to have found it. “Nice!”
The Hotel Brandstaetter is located a little bit out of the center in Salzburg, but bus stop is near hotel. Decoration traditional, very cozy and warm. We had a huge selection of breakfast dishes, the pastries and bread were warm. Dogs are allowed. All recommendations.

Beautiful appointed hotel with a lovely pool and sauna. Rooms are lovely Restaurant is excellent and most staff mannerly , friendly and very efficient .However it’s a taxi 20 euro eachtime into the magnificent small city of Salzburg or by bus. “This hotel needs upgrade, but wherelse reception girl light up real fireplaces for you.”
You can walk to the center via beautiful hills with many interesting stops and take a bus back at evening. Easy parking and very quiet place.

“Too traditional place for me”
I liked the room and lobby is pleasant. Mountain view is great. But I would prefer better breakfast. One of my colleagues found some insects in his room.
