“Great hotel in a privileged location”

The rooms are great, very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very convenient if you're visiting University of Graz: a nice walk to the University while in the city centre.

Stayed here for one night in July 2026 Pros: 1) The location is excellent. It is a short walk to the city centre and the clock tower. 2) There are plenty of eating options near the hotel. 3) The front desk is operational round the clock and the staff was very courteous and spoke excellent English. The check-in/check-out process was smooth. 4) The tariff was reasonable. 5) The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and very clean. 6) The place is very quiet at night and the sleep quality was great. 7) The WIFI was free with great speed and connectivity. 8) There is a good underground parking at the hotel. Cons: 1) The parking is very expensive.

“Good enough for a big city like Graz - but the T&B could stand a redesign”

Great location, just outside the old city center, with its pedestrianized cobblestone streets. The hotel is new and very modern in design, both outside and inside. The room we had was relatively above average, with enough space to fully lay down two large luggage side by side. ours was at a corner so it had a relatively weird shape. Two of the walls were all windows, which as nice. Furnishings inside were modern too, with a coffee maker and water kettle. From a design standpoint, what was interesting was the five-foot wide floor-to-ceiliing wall in front of the bed which contained the large TV - on a swivel so that you could watch from the 'living room' side or the bed side. When you entered, a small foyer led to the bedroom area. A major complaint was the T&B. It was small and narrow and the toilet seat was positioned awkwardly so that if you were seated, your partner could open the door and hit your knees with the swinging door. If you were brushing your teeth, the T&B door could still hit you. And to get out of the T&B, you had to be careful lest you hit the glass wall of the shower stall - it was that small and poorly laid out. Food at the breakfast place was quite decent - they had a lot of raw veggies, enough hot food including mushrooms and beans (but no bacon). bread, butter, cheese and jam were plenty - so were the cold hams and cheeses. But it was clearly noticeable that there weren't enough waiters - at the time we went down, there was only one waiter and he was receiving the arrivals, cleaning the tables, and supplying the empty food platters. Even at the reception desk, there were a lot of people checking in or out and there was only one receptionist.

“Other than room temperature - nice stay”

Overall this was a good stay. Friendly staff...clean and comfortable room. Unfortunately we could not get the room temperature below 24 degrees and it was 25 most of the night. Finally at about 4am it started to cool off. Otherwise, great location. Quiet yet centrally located and worth the cost.
