“Lovely hotel”

Loved my stay at this charming hotel. The service is nice and friendly. I had a comfortable room with a view of the mountains. The food is excellent. Breakfast is really nice and the dinners are delicious. Great location, quick walk into town. I want to go back!

This is a real nice hotel, beautiful rooms, breakfast is perfect, so is lunch and sorry we did not try dinner but we should have eaten there. The hotel is closely located near the town centre, you can easily walk beside the river to enjoy the nightlife if you want but the hotel also has a bar where you can enjoy a drink or two. The hotel staff are very friendly good english speakers which is a necessity for me, they go the extra mile, if you need anything they will make it happen for you.

This is a small 5* hotel on the birder of the small village Kirchberg. It puts its emphasis on accommodating two Gourmet restaurants. We stayed with a 2-night package including one dinner. Check-in: Extremely nice, friendly Room: Said to be a 1-category upgrade but still on the small side. Everything good quality. Shower/washroom niche not separated by a door. Food and drinks: Heavenly cocktails at a reasonable cost. Real gourmet style dinner (called 7-course alpine menue), extramaly good. Breakfast also fantastic, with smoked fish terrine etc. Reception: Good and knowledgeable but a bit self-assured. I mean, for example: Upon checking in one lady commented the weather forecast to be very positive and upon checking out the (other) lady exclaimed that the weather had been much better than the forecast (weather was rather bad and I had studied all the forecasts). Spa: New and very beautiful but the since the area is restricted, it can become crowded. Things to improve: A beaker of ice cubes to the room was charged EUR 8 or 9. One coffee capsule is charged EUR 2 Both, in a 5* hotel - not because of the money - are a no-go. Suggestion: Replace the capsule coffee machine with a Nespresso. While the quality of the espresso is the same, the one in the room did not punch holes in the capsules and looks poor. Hotel standard are the Citiz type machines which cost nearly nothing. Summary: I have been in the area in a few larger 5* hotels like Stanglwirt and for them it is more easy to keep the level. I have also been in small 4*S hotels like Posthotel in Zillertal and Rosengarten is somewhat better but not by much.. In favor of Rosengarten, the difference is the food, including breakfast. Finally the price matters, of course.
