We had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. Arrived early and were able to use the facilities. Loved the outside thermal bowls and large lane swimming pool. Staff are efficient and friendly. Room was modern, super soft duvet and clean. Loved the complimentary soft drinks which were replenished daily. The food was delicious and fresh. We booked into a hike with Patricia who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel had walking boots, pack back and water bottle that we were able to use. The surrounding scenery is stunning. A few of my friends have seen the photos etc and are already thinking of booking! It was a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely recommend.

“5-star experience”

I cannot understand why this is a 4-star hotel as it truly feels like a 5-star experience. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The staff and servers were incredibly nice and friendly. I cannot understand why this is a 4-star hotel as it truly feels like a 5-star experience. Everything was super clean and well maintained. The staff and servers were incredibly nice and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional offering amazing variety, high-quality food and lots of healthy products. Dinners were great too and the food was delicious. Super impressed with our stay and would absolutely come back and recommend.

As an avid swimmer who loves the Austrian Alps, I was genuinely excited to stay at the Aqua Dome on a recent trip. Unfortunately, the experience was a major letdown. I had expected something truly luxe and dramatic -- an experience that embraced the surrounding alpine beauty. Instead, the hotel felt generic and oddly soulless, as though it could have been dropped into any mid-tier ski resort. Our rooms, in particular, felt underwhelming: cheaply furnished and entirely unmemorable. The thermal spa offers a wide range of soaking options, some more appealing than others, but nothing felt genuinely spectacular. Practical details were also frustrating: something as simple as finding a water glass or an extra towel proved surprisingly difficult. After three days of navigating the endless underground passageways between the hotel and spa—more reminiscent of a shopping mall basement than a serene alpine retreat—we were more than ready to leave. To be fair, the food was excellent and abundant, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. But ultimately, the hotel itself fell well short of the promise and setting.

This was our second stay at AquaDome, and in almost every way it lived up to the fantastic experience we remembered. The staff were friendly and professional, the facilities were spotless and extremely well maintained, the food was delicious, and the activities and surroundings were exceptional. A special mention to Maria, the hiking tour guide, who was super. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a serious issue with sleep. Our bed squeaked loudly every time we moved. We reported this to the front desk on the first night, and a technician attended. While it improved slightly, the problem was not resolved. We reported it again and another technician visited, but because the noise was movement-dependent, it could not be fully demonstrated at the time. Each night, however, the bed continued to squeak loudly and repeatedly woke us up. We raised the issue multiple times, but although staff were sympathetic, no effective solution or alternative was offered. For a room costing over £500 per night, a comfortable and quiet bed is a basic expectation, and unfortunately this was not met. We would love to return, as AquaDome excels in so many areas, but the unresolved sleep issue was disappointing enough that it makes us hesitant to recommend or rebook at this time.
