From the moment of our arrival, we were received with the utmost courtesy and welcome, and throughout our stay we found ourselves in great comfort. Our room was well-appointed and very clean. The food provided was superb. Each dish was prepared with evident care and skill, delighting both the eye and the palate in equal measure. Indeed, the victuals served did far exceed our expectations, and we found ourselves anticipating each repast with keen pleasure. Most worthy of special mention is the excellent restaurant, whose refined atmosphere and attentive service did greatly enhance our experience. In particular, we must commend the good waiter Dobromir, whose courteous manner, diligence, and thoughtful assistance ensured that all our wants were met with cheerful efficiency. In sum, our stay was most comfortable and gratifying, and we should gladly return to this fine hotel, recommending it heartily to all who seek hospitality of the highest order.

We had a very pleasant stay overall and found the hotel charming and very traditional, with amazing mountain views from our room. The atmosphere is warm and authentically Tyrolean. Our room attendant was attentive and professional, and the reception team were extremely helpful, particularly when I needed medical assistance — their support was genuinely appreciated and handled with care. That said, for a 4-star hotel, the breakfast experience and its management fell short of the level of professionalism one would expect. The buffet itself is good, and I agree with other reviews that for long-stay guests, some variation would be welcome, although I understand this is not always feasible. What I found difficult to understand was the rigid table allocation policy. We were told we had to use the same table every morning, and when we politely asked if we could sit elsewhere, we were told no — this is simply how it is. Meanwhile, other guests (including groups) were seated in the main breakfast room, while we — despite paying the full rate — were allocated a table in the lounge area near the entrance door, which was noticeably less pleasant. I also observed that tables were being reset for lunch as early as 8:00am, while breakfast service was still in full flow. Having worked in hospitality for over 30 years, this felt highly unusual. Tables are normally reset after breakfast service has finished, not during it, to avoid disrupting guests. When I raised these concerns with the manager, there was no apology, only explanations such as “this is how we do it” and “it’s easier for us”. While he did say he would see what he could do for us on our last day, this came across as doing us a favour rather than resolving a service issue. A more professional response would simply have been: “I’m sorry — we’ll make sure you have a lovely table by the window on your last morning.” I also found the approach to clearing tables unprofessional for a 4-star hotel. Staff asked to remove a plate that I was clearly using — my phone was resting on the edge while I was actively reading — yet I was still told I needed to remove it. A more guest-focused approach would have been to leave it and return later. In summary, I would have happily given this hotel 5 stars, as the property itself, the rooms, and the reception team are excellent. However, due to the lack of professionalism shown by the manager in handling a reasonable concern, I am rating this stay 4 stars. There are many beautiful hotels in Seefeld, and as we plan to return next year, we will choose a different property, as breakfast and how issues are handled are an important part of the overall hotel experience.
