The staff were so friendly and attentive, the facilities were superb, the food just delicious and everywhere was so clean. “Perfect place”

Very nice place for a stay! You have everything you need in the hotel: nice restaurant, ski room and great SPA area both for kids and adults. We were staying at freshly built part of the hotel and family room is absolutely perfect for a family with 2 kids. Thank you

I stayer for shortski with 2 adult children. We stayed in a wing with non-renovated rooms; nice, Austrian charm. The restaurant is nice, although it was a bit crowdy at the buffet. The wellness is amazing; multiple swimming pools, sauna, relax-rooms, etcetera…more than I can remember. The hotel is quite big, so it can get somewhat crowded in common spaces.

“Nice hotel but with some reservations”

This was our third stay at the Neuhaus Hotel, and while we enjoyed our visit, we left with a few reservations. What the hotel does exceptionally well: The spa is outstanding — genuinely 5‑star. The facilities are beautiful, the relaxation areas are superb, and the sauna master delivers excellent infusions that are a real treat after a day on the slopes. Breakfast is also top‑class, with a huge variety of fresh, high‑quality food that really sets you up for the day. The hotel itself is a charming, historic Austrian building, very well maintained inside and out, and it has a warm, lively atmosphere with guests of all ages enjoying the space. The staff are friendly, attentive, and speak excellent English. Service in the dining room was consistently good, and the team worked hard to keep everything running smoothly. Our room was a little old‑fashioned and quite basic, but as we had booked a standard room, we had no major complaints—it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Where things fell short: Dinner was disappointing this year. We felt the standard had dropped noticeably compared to last year, which was a let‑down as the food had been one of the reasons we chose to return. One of the desserts was so bland I couldn’t finish it, and I’m not a fussy eater. The gravy was far too salty, and the soups were weak. On the positive side, the salad bar and the selection of fresh breads were excellent. Another issue was our late arrival. The hotel had been informed in advance, and we requested some food as we knew we would miss dinner. Unfortunately, nothing was left in the room—not even water. This was the first time in an Austrian hotel that we arrived late and weren’t provided with at least a small plate of food. Our “dinner” ended up being leftover snacks from the flight, which was disappointing. Finally, on our last day, after checking out, we asked if we could have a quick shower before our 15:30 shuttle. We were told it would cost €15. For returning guests, this felt unnecessary and a bit penny‑pinching. Most hotels offer this as a goodwill gesture, and I suspect the €15 charge will cost them more in goodwill than it will ever earn. Overall: We still enjoyed our stay, and there is a lot to love about the Neuhaus—especially the spa, breakfast, and the atmosphere. But the drop in dinner quality and a few small but meaningful service decisions took away from what could have been another excellent visit.
