“Great medieval house”

The wi-fi is a bit slow and sometimes the connection breaks. This was the only little minus. It`s like living in a little castle as the building is 500 years old! Stone thick walls, stone ceiling, circular staircase in the corridor, stone sinks in the bathroom and those authentic things in the hall, like ancient storage chests make you feel the medieval atmosphere. At the same time the apartment is very modern inside: all necessary kitchen utensils, a coffee-machine, a dish-washing machine, a hi-tech shower with infrared warming and music, very comfortable beds, very comfortable living-room with a giant plasma, where there is enough space for a company of 5 to relax in the sofa in the evenings. There also a nice mini-gym right inside the apartment, but we didn`t have a chance to use it. The apartment is spotlessly clean. Urgestein Ferien is a good location for stay to explore traditional Tirolean towns, such as Rattenberg, Schwaz, Hall-in-Tirol and Innsbruck of course. In some 100 m there is a supermarket and a perfect restaurant Marschal`s. The host Jessica is a very helpful and nice person.

“Unforgettable place ”

This holiday hours was amazing, Jessica from the house helped us allot by providing information about the sounding area , places to eat and to visit. The house itself in very quiet village with amazing view and very clean and will maintained. It's highly recommended

I do not think I can ever recall finding such a gem of an apartment. The opulence of the finish where no corner has been left to achieve a beautiful high quality 2 storey apartment. Everything you could ever need is supplied. Its warm and cosy with high quality fitments throughout all the rooms even a tanning booth, walk in shower and stunning panelled bath. Nothing has been forgotten that I can think of. I have no hesitation in 100% recommend these apartments and as soon as possible I shall be returning. The owners Jessica and Martin are so helpful and nothing appears to be too much trouble. A true GEM in a very nice Austrian village of Stans.

“Lovely apartment, few communication issues...”

Pros- Stylish quality apartments. We stayed in Scheifer which had a nice balcony with mountain views. Stans is nice and has a small supermarket and lovely outdoor pool with a slide for kids. Pros- Stylish quality apartments. We stayed in Scheifer which had a nice balcony with mountain views. Stans is nice and has a small supermarket and lovely outdoor pool with a slide for kids. The children loved the goats and the owners very kindly let the children brush and feed them and collect eggs from the chickens. The owners provided us with lots of info re walks and swimming in Lake Achensee. The pool is beautiful and there is no chlorine or chemicals. Cons- Our friends stayed in Granit which had a nice terrace overlooking the pool, but it lacks any privacy and doesn’t have a view. Weirdly, despite it having three bedrooms, the owners locked one of the bedrooms and asked for an extra 10% fee to unlock it. This wasn’t mentioned on the emails or on the website, and was a bit of a shock and not a great start to the holiday. We could not check in until 5pm, and there were 3 pages of rules to read and sign. Again, not a very relaxing start after long journeys. The pool is cleaned by a robot which takes hours and the pool cannot be used at this time, so access is limited. The children weren’t keen on the pool as it is cold, and they are not allowed to jump in or use any toys. There is no air con or even a fan so it was very very hot at night during the heatwave. Overall it was a nice stay, but we would not choose to return.
