Oliver Apartments

“EXCELENT!”

Amazing Apartment. Very comfortable. Very clean and maid every day. Super Market oposit the street. We suggest Olivers for sure. Only 5 min walk from Metro station and just 10 min away from the most important thinks to see. When we will come back to Vienna, we will stay here for sure.

Location: slightly out of the beaten paths in a residential area. It is exactly at the limit where being in the outskirts of the downtown areas might become a burden. Very easy to reach by subway or tram, it also is easy and reasonably quick to walk from the apartments to the old town (say 20 minutes or so). There are convenience near the property: a "Penny" supermarket across the street and a "Spar" 5 minutes away. There also is a small family-run grocery store ("Imbiss") that open early and closes late (they have food, drinks and make pizzas and "pide"). Flats: we had two very similar flats for 4 persons (one bedroom and a folding sofa in the living room). All in excellent repair condition and very clean. You have everything at your disposal for self-catering and you can live there like you are at home. The only downside is associated to the folding sofas that are of questionable quality and one side (the one that slides out) tends to be at an angle, have a bit of a "slope" because the supports are not strong enough. The area and the flats are extremely quite. We basically heard zero noises during our stay. Services: we had two small problems (both our fault...) and the staff was very supportive and prompt to react/assist. Very satisfied with that, indeed. Miscellaneous: there are lockers in the basement which make early arrivals and late departures easy and convenient. You can leave your belongings before you check in, or after you checked out. This is a great feature. I tend to believe this residence may also be a good choice if you visit for work over several days or weeks. So altogether, we can only highly recommend "Oliver Like Home" if this is the style of stays you like (self-catering apartments) and we would happily book again if we return to Vienna in the future.

“Great place to stay in Vienna ”

Great place to stay and was near all major transport routes. It was a 15 minute bus ride into the city. The flat was well stocked (dishes and glasses) and even came with a dishwasher and a fridge (with a small freezer) Access was via the door card and the rooms were soundproofed. Great place to stay and was near all major transport routes. It was a 15 minute bus ride into the city. The flat was well stocked (dishes and glasses) and even came with a dishwasher and a fridge (with a small freezer) Access was via the door card and the rooms were soundproofed. There was a Penny shop opposite, so that you could pick up essentials. My only wish was that they had one in every major city. It was a massive saving, compared to a hotel.

Decent self contained apartment with self catering facilities. Comfortable beds. Good location although most local bars etc do not open until 5pm. Decent self contained apartment with self catering facilities. Comfortable beds. Good location although most local bars etc do not open until 5pm. The apartments are some distance from the main sightseeing district however it’s only a 5 minute walk to the metro. The only small gripes were that you are not able to check in until exactly 3pm which meant that there was a small queue of people wanting to check in at the same time. The apartments were cleaned daily however coffee wasn’t replaced. Again, these are small issues and didn’t impact on our overall stay.
