My wife and I staged out of here for our highly anticipated trip to Liechtenstein for its National Day. Not only are hotels less expensive in Dornbirn than in Vaduz, this particular Sheraton property has so much to offer. The rooms are comfortable, allowing for great views of the mountains. The only bad thing was that is was extremely hot during our brief stay that we had to keep the curtains closed since the large window in our room received sun all day. The air conditioner really struggled to keep the place cool. The hotel did provide an additional in-room cooling unit that helped quite a bit. The hotel bar/dining room, The Gastro Counter, was quite good. We enjoyed a cold beer and a glass of wine here. The Asian waitress was wonderful. I regret not getting her name to give her a shout out. We had dinner here on our first night since we had traveled all day to get here. I had the fish and chips while my wife enjoyed a Caesar salad. The breakfast buffet was superb. It was one of the best I had seen in a long time. There was a large selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and various types of bread. There was also made to order eggs. After getting a plate or two of delicious food, the morning was made even better by the views from the rooftop dining area. Gonzalo and his wife from Argentina went out of their way to be very helpful. The pool and spa were fantastic. Again, with such sunny and hot weather, we made use of the pool each day. We also came in the evenings to enjoy the indoor pool before bed. Oh, we also had a great swim before checkout. Speaking of checking out (and checking in), the front desk staff was wonderful. I won't name anyone particularly as they were all great. I did have an issue with the air conditioner one night, so a Turkish man came up to my room and was tremendous. Parking was also very easy and not expensive. All in all, this place was worth every penny. While I am giving this place a five, I do want to warn you that the hotel is not really close to a lot of restaurants or the main square. It is only a thirty minute walk into town, but in the high heat, doing so was not possible. Still, a great stay overall!

“Great stay but WiFi is not good”

Great stay, location, amenities and parking. Overall very satisfied with our stay - the spa is amazing. My only complaint is that the phone in the room nor the WiFi worked. The front desk was not helpful as they told me - “we will notate it”. Other than that - would recommend.

Excellent hotel. Great staff. Especially on front desk - professional, friendly, organised. Great rooms including strong AC. Comfortable beds and casting to TV. Spa excellent. Including pool. Breakfast great selection and good quality. Waiting staff could be a bit quicker clearing and re-setting… more

Excellent hotel. Great staff. Especially on front desk - professional, friendly, organised. Great rooms including strong AC. Comfortable beds and casting to TV. Spa excellent. Including pool. Breakfast great selection and good quality. Waiting staff could be a bit quicker clearing and re-setting tables (had to create my own table) But that should not detract from the five start review given here - based on this category of hotel and at this price. “Very friendly, comfy, clean”

I booked the hotel because I prefer hotel chains, have Marriott Platinum Elite, and there are not many options available there. I booked the hotel because I prefer hotel chains, have Marriott Platinum Elite, and there are not many options available there. There is not much to do in Dornbirn and the hotel is not in the "city center". I would only recommend the hotel if you travel by car. Anyway, everyone was very friendly at the front desk. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The room was fine, food was fine, the room was clean and comfy. The view was also beautiful. Some of the guests behaved badly in the breakfast area. This is not the fault of the hotel and, unfortunately, you find such guests everywhere, in cheaper hotels and in luxury hotels as well. I would book it again.
