Our second trip, the first being four years ago. This time we were allocated room 104, a dual aspect room with verandah, on the first floor.Everything fine, being constructively critical, no English tv channels, room Wi-fi (available in the lounge though) or kettle (so take your own). The room was nice, and, the range, and portions, of food were good, showing a vast improvement over our first visit. The staff were very attentive and tried their best to make this a good experience for their guests. All our group seemed to be satisfied. Although the location is off the beaten track unless skiing, for the price paid for the whole holiday, this was a good base. Nearby is a service station with shop and restaurant, so sandwiches and other supplies should be available 24 hours, so not as isolated as one was led to believe. Great.

TOUR REF7801A Alpine Inclusive & Glacier Express Departing 15 SEP 2019 Drivers Grumpy Carl And Quiet Allan , I Cannot Fault The Skills Of The Drivers They Were Amazing Driving The Coach And were Very Competent Getting The Coach From A To B. And Driving On Those Windy Roads They Were Amazing . But They Were Not Very Good At Communicating Especially Carl He Only Seamed To Speak To A Young Couple On The Coach And At The Hotel. He Treated The Rest Of US Like Children ,He Didn't Tell US Very Much At All There Was Supposed To Be An Itinerary But I Looked For It And Never Found It, We Didn't Stop Enough For Toilet Breaks Or Just To stretch Our Legs and Were Told Not To Use The onboard Toilet Unless It Was An Emergency And If It Filled Up It Would Be Locked And That Would Be It . We Stopped For Fuel On The Way he Said We All Had To Hurry Up We had 30 mins To Use The o e and only Toilet They Had And Pop Into The Very Small Shop . We Got To Metz At 10pm But They Didn't Tell Us We're We Could Get Anything To Eat Google Maps We're Amazing . The Hotels Were We Stopped Were Very Good The Food In The Gasthof Could Have Been Better I think we had pork every night. The Staff Were Very Good . The Train Journeys Were Fantastic . The Trips Should Have Been Spaced Out A Lot Better We Had 4 Very Early Morning Two Getting There And The Next Two To Go On The Train Journeys but 3 hrs on a coach there Then A 2 ½ Hour Train Journey Then Of The Train to Use The Toilet At The Station And Back On The Coach for another 3 hrs We Were Not Allowed To Look Around The Village . Thank God We All Made Pack Ups We Ate Them On The Coach Back To The Hotel . Same Again The Next Day Why Does The Hotel Have To Be 3 Hours Away From These Trains It's Just Knackering When We Weren't Allowed To Look Around St Moritz Back On The Coach Why Because Carl Didn't Want Us Looking Around The Shops . He Had A Right Hissy Fit Because People Were Wondering Off . We Paid 30 Euros A Couple To Go To Samnaun A Place Were We Could Go Shopping We Did Walk About For 4 Hours and Had A Picnic By A Beautifully River And It Was Lovely The Next Day To Lake Constance Was Also Very Good But Carl Wasn't Talking To Us Very Much At All It Was Like He Was Sulking And I'm Sure He Wasn't Talking To Alan The Other Driver ,Who Had Said He Had Been Sat Under A Tree and Sleep For 4 Hours .
