On arrival to the apartments there were roadworks outside the door which obviously can't be helped, rubbish bags on the step and the glass door had a huge crack in it, there were big laundry trolleys in the entryway (which remained for our stay) so wasn't the greatest welcome! One of our party had arrived on an earlier flight but did say that whilst the information given to go to Black Swan was not a problem it was apparently not as straight forward as it could have been once there. Apartments however are in an excellent location, ideal for public transport and getting about by foot. A credit card was taken and deposit of €600 for the two room taken off, now I understand why a card must be held however was annoyed the money was actually taken off the card and took a week and a message from myself to have it returned. Apartments had everything you could need for a stay and the two bathrooms are an absolute bonus, complete with complimentary toiletries,towels and hairdryer. The walls are VERY thin, you can hear people going by outside (think early AM revellers shouting etc down the street! ) And we were also complained about for noise, the following night to this another group were very loud in the building, this is just people having fun, I wouldn't personally complain however just as warning some people do. Water went off due to the road works from 9-3 whilst we were there, again not a problem of the owners however there was a note on the door in Spanish they maybe could have warned us in advance in order for us all to be up early to shower. We had two apartments and one of them had no hot water the whole three nights there, I did let them know via WhatsApp as reception is in a seperate building a walk away and they responded promptly with instructions to fix the boiler however we were out and about until late so didn't have a chance to try until late - at which point the instructions didn't help but there was no one to assist by which point we were leaving the following morning with them not having showered once in their own apartment in the three nights stay! All in all though (showering and thin walls aside) a great apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay, WiFi, air con, washing machine, dishwasher etc excellent location and pretty much as pictures show (more wear and tear in real life but fine, nothing to complain about) and great value for money.

“Good Location”

Stayed here with 3 girlfriends. Apartment was in an excellent location & was clean & safe, beds very comfy and our apartment was quiet on the second floor. Downside was we had to collect the keys from 6 blocks away very late at night and was told it was walkable. Started to make the walk and decide… more

Stayed here with 3 girlfriends. Apartment was in an excellent location & was clean & safe, beds very comfy and our apartment was quiet on the second floor. Downside was we had to collect the keys from 6 blocks away very late at night and was told it was walkable. Started to make the walk and decided to get a cab - very glad we did as 6 blocks was quite a long way pulling cases! This should be made very clear on booking. Overall a lovely weekend in beautiful Barcelona where i would definitely return - 3 days was not enough :)

“Spacious, central, totally accommodating, would stay there again!”

It was perfect! Best was Location and style of the apartment, it was also very spacious and comfortable, even 6 people would feel great. Double beds would suit us better than 2 singles put together. It was perfect! Best was Location and style of the apartment, it was also very spacious and comfortable, even 6 people would feel great. Double beds would suit us better than 2 singles put together. Noise and pollution from the road when opened windows was rather high. Extra seating if more people in apartment would be beneficial. Extra was 45 Eur cleaning fee, and we had to pay 53 Eur parking for 3 days nearby ... those could be unexpected top-ups everybody needs to be aware of in Barcelona! And at the beginning collection of the key was also unexpected but very smooth process with friendly welcome and all information we needed. There is elevator in the building which is great for 3rd floor apartment. Balcony is tiny and above extremely busy road but rather exciting city views. Small supermarkets, caffes and lots of bars locally, even post office is nearby. Lovely walking around Barcelona area.

We booked this apartments for six persons based on the outstanding reviews we read online. Although all in all we had a nice stay, I do have to add some nuance to all the glowing reviews. First of all the noise from the street really disturbed our sleep. The lovely big windows in the apartment aren't isolated well enough, so you can hear all the traffic noise and the people shouting outside as if you were standing on the street itself. The apartment is clean with a kitchen and a comfortable living room. The living room is somewhat decorated, but the bedrooms are very spartan indeed. Not a frame on the walls to liven up the room. The bathrooms were on the small side and one of the showers needed reparation. There was also a broken light that needed fixing. There was also no door separating the two adjoining rooms from the living room. The entry door at the street level also had a big crack in it. I guess this apartment can use a makeover or just better maintenance. The matresses on the bed were very tin and I was scared I wouldn't sleep very well on then, but that turned out luckily not to be the case. The whole vibe of the bedroom was very minimal though. Be warned: if you hire this apartment you only get one set of towels for your whole stay. Since we stayed five nights we would have appreciated some extra towels. On the upside: the location is excellent!
