Beautiful little hotel, and service was as excellent as all the reviews say. The reviews mention that it is easy to pass by, which is correct, so we knew where to look, how to find this place. Getting in (for us) was a tiny bit confusing. I am still not sure where the first floor is, or what floor our room was actually on. You enter on ground floor, and there are many little flights of stairs, 6 or so steps per flight. With heavy luggage it's a little hard to go up the stairs, so we took the miniscule elevator, which actually took us to a different level. I think there were half levels, and the elevator only stopped at the main levels. This isn't a big deal, it was just a little confusing, we did fine. The location is fabulous. So many places close by, across the street from a beautiful church/school. We loved our room, it was very large, and the balcony glass doors were fabulous. We loved being able to look out onto the street and feel the breeze. Good storage area, large bathroom. Also very clean, and our beds were made up each day while we were out touring, and towels were replaced. We really appreciated this (this isn't something we get all the time in US). The coffee and pastries in the morning was perfect! We were on the go, and just needed a little something to get our day started. Plaza Catalunya is a short walk, as well as many other sites. We were never more than a 20 minute walk from the places we toured (all the major sites in Barrio Gotic, and the Rambla Del Mar). We are very grateful for the gentleman at the front desk for helping us carry out our bags when we left. With the confusion of the elevator, many little flights of stairs, it was so appreciated! We are very happy with our stay at this hotel and would enthusiastically recommend it to everyone!

“Awesome accommodations for family of 4”

Our room was WAY beyond our expectations: comfortable, large, and perfectly located. Having two king sized beds, two rooms, two bathrooms, and a small assortment of pastries and coffee in the morning was fantastic. Our room was WAY beyond our expectations: comfortable, large, and perfectly located. Having two king sized beds, two rooms, two bathrooms, and a small assortment of pastries and coffee in the morning was fantastic. It was clean and the desk seemed to always be available if we needed them. Just a note, however, if you are unable to climb stairs, this might not be the place for you. Although there’s an elevator, it doesn’t exactly let you off on the floor you want. This is just part of the European charm, I suppose.

“Great location but with street noise and no climate control”

The small hotel is in an apartment building with a small elevator that does not stop on the floor with the entry door. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful receptionist (Kasha) at check-in. The small hotel is in an apartment building with a small elevator that does not stop on the floor with the entry door. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful receptionist (Kasha) at check-in. We had a good sized room with high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a safe and mini frig. It was definitely European minimalist design. However there was no climate control in the room (extremely warm and had to sleep with the windows open) and some noise from the street (but quieted late at night).

First the positives: An easy walk from the bus stop from the airport. Good soundproofing from the street. Comfortable bed. We got a great night's sleep. Good sized room with a high ceiling. A safe. A fridge. Fluffy towels. Good WiFi. Friendly, helpful receptionist. Complementary coffee and pastries breakfast. If that was it, my review would be an easy five stars. But. The shower was one of the worst I have encountered. Black mould on the tiles. A cake of black gunk inside the shower door. The cleaner never goes in there, with the shower door closed, to see the dirt. We would definitely not return.
