“Quality central Ghent hotel”
Beautifully converted building, authentically furnished. Great staff, fantastic cocktail lounge, very pleasant breakfast. Room was well dimensioned, quiet, very comfortable and with great aircon in the hot weather. Super-central location to explore Ghent on foot.

“Can't Wait to Visit Next Time We're in Ghent!”
We always enjoy our time at 1898 The Post. The service is excellent. The rooms are clean, quiet, beautifully adorned, and spacious. The staff is helpful and friendly.

“Beautiful hotel and beautiful city”
This is one of those rare hotels where you instantly feel glad you came. Lovely building, perfectly appointed rooms, a fabulous bar, and "above and beyond" service. Our mistake was in booking only one night - you'll want at least three.

Comfortable room with good temperature control. I loved the style and decor of the interior of the hotel the room.
