I spontaneously attended a sporting event over the weekend and booked this hotel at short notice. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely come back again if I have to visit Mechelen.

Hotel Ve was an absolutely superb find in the unbelievably beautiful city of Mechelen. It's set in a charming small square on the riverfront with restaurants & bars all around. Beautiful room and great bed. Sometimes heard the kathedral bells but had a good night sleep. For the rest a quite location. The surroundings are very nicly decorated. “Convenient stay but needs improvement on hygiene.”
The staff were very friendly and helpful in ensuring I had everything I requested for my stay. However, I found the hygiene of the hotel was very poor. The bedsheets, tables, chairs were dusty, no hand wash in the bathroom and a very strong drain odour in the bathroom.
