“Good service, especially Alan and Pietro!”
Very nice hotel, with a nice and friendly staff. Especially Alan and Pietro who did the extra to give good service. The hotel is close to tram line and s-bahn, as well as some cafes and a supermarket. All in all, a very good experience here. Would recommend.

“Nice hotel with a couple of caveats”
Weird bed consisting of two single mattresses together, but very nice bathroom & mini-fridge -- also FYI the tv shows ONLY german programs and I am used to having at least ONE english news channel -- admittedly this is not a chain nor is it in the middle of the city, but otherwise it was fine. “Average hotel, some things to note.”
Stayed for 6 nights. Room is a decent size, and generally the hotel is clean. You can get the M5 or M6 tram about a 5 minute walk away, which takes you straight to Alexanderplatz. “OK for a short stay, but we were unlucky with a construction site in front of the building.”
We stayed for two nights and while the hotel itself was OK, we were a bit unlucky with the timing. There was a strike of public transport (and the walk to the center is quite long) and we also had a construction site in front of the hotel. Luckily it wasn't too loud, but still an inconvenience.
