“Best Hotel in Fortaleza”

Perfect Hotel! Everything was great: the room, breakfast, pool and surroundings. Very friendly staff. Location is also great, just a few minutes walk to Praia Beira Bar. There is also a boutique inside the hotel where you can buy beach stuff or clothing.

Best hotel in Fortaleza!!! Best service, best breakfast. One word amazing. The staff is politely and very clean. Nice gym and also an amazing pool with towels from the hotel. And the speak very well English. So I will come back one day and enjoy the stay in this great hotel

The most important thing to know about this hotel is that THERE IS NO PARKING OF ANY KIND. We where not told of this until the reservation was confirmed. The most important thing to know about this hotel is that THERE IS NO PARKING OF ANY KIND. We where not told of this until the reservation was confirmed. The area is ok but we extorted for protection against "car problems." If you want to have a car at your service, consider the Comfort Inn just down the road. Now the hotel itself. The decor is tasteful, the rooms are comfortable and the bed was firm in a good way. There was no place with drawers to store anything. A long live edge shelf and a very open shelf unit are all that is supplied. We literally lived out of our bags. The walls are very thin, we got used to it but, from time to time it sounded like someone was in our romm with us. The resturant is well attended and the food very good. The front desk staff is attentive but the weekend team was confused by the notion of two couples in separate rooms paid by one credit card. They solved it by double charging us for each room. We left it alone until Monday when the first team was on duty.. The beach is walkable but I have cardiac issues so not for me. Again The Confort Inn is just two blocks from the beach. Agood question now would be how we went with this hotel. I was out voted and I had to allow for our friends who have different criteria than I. Still this is a good choice for the budget minded.

The Hotel is very nice, a kind of little oasi, with a lot of green and relaxing areas around a modern swimming pool. Unfortunately, due to the trees around, the swimming pool is always full of leaves, and this doesn't make you feel always comfortable. The restaurant is opened day and evening, offering some snacks, and few dishes, for lunch and dinner. Quality is not bad, if you prefer staying in the hotel, and not going outside, expecially in the night. The rooms are big, with nice modern furniture. There is a little gym, opened 24h. We did not use it, since children are not allowed to use it. It was not easy to communicate at the reception, since most of the people did not speak English. We were very disappointed by their attention to the client. The day that we wanted to visit the Water Park, the Park was closed, but they did not inform us (they did not check, simply mentioned we could buy the tickets there). ATTENTION: they seem to have a business with the taxi driver. We asked to call a taxi for us, and we were picked up by a crazy driver that while knowing that the Park was closed, still drove us there, and then, pretended to not be aware. So, he suggested to drive us in another place (Cumbuco Aqua Beach), claiming it was only 20min far, while it was 1h and 30min far.. When we realised his game, we asked to stop us in the city, and he charged us for 400 RS... At our diparture, we asked the reception to call a taxi, for going to the airport. We got the same taxi driver that wanted again to play the same game, and charge us more than the normal price, increasing the taxi meter manually. When we put him against the evidence, he stopped played the game. You would expect it is safer asking the reception for a taxi, rather than taking the first one on the raod, but it wasn't the case... we felt we were in dangerous... Please, never ask for a taxi in the hotel !!!! There are other hotels around, and you could look for one there.
