Stayed at this hotel as part of Tour Group. The Room was adequate although a little dark. The room appeared clean but bathroom had hair from previous guest which had been overlooked in the cleaning. There was no noise except for traffic outside occasionally. Bed linens were of good quality and the pillows were very comfortable! The Buffett breakfast was not very appealing; a large variety of delicious breads and cakes, but the scrambled eggs were cold and the premade omelets were tough as leather and were inedible. A good variety of juices served but on some days they were so watered down that they tasted like colored water. As far the hotel staff there was not much interaction. However the Hotel had no envelopes or tape available that I requested to solve a problem I had, although there was no requirement that they supply guests with same. So I can’t hold that against the hotel, but it would have been a good customer service gesture. The location of the hotel was great and close to a few dining venues. It was also across the street from a nice park. If I return to Salvador Bahia, I would choose this hotel because of location and safety. All in all a nice hotel!

This was my first trip to Salvador in more than 10 years and the hotels where I had stayed before were no longer open. I stayed at the Wish hotel. The lobby is attractive but the rooms are very disappointing just drab and lack color and imagination. The room wasn't even equipped with an iron and ironing board but they did bring one when I requested it. Erik checked me in and was personable and so was Silas, the bellman, who met me at my car. The main restaurant wasn't anything to brag about. They have what looked to be a more upscale restaurant but it wasn't opened the two days that I stayed there even though the Front Desk staff had advised me as to what time it would be opened. When it wasn't open and I inquired, I was sent to the same restaurant where the breakfast buffet is served and they didn't even offer the menu of the more upscale restaurant. My room didn't even have a box of facial tissues which is pretty standard in hotels and no wash cloths only hand towels. The location happened to be convenient to the friends who I was visiting but I don't know if I would stay here again.
