“Clean and spacious”

We took a flat with 2 rooms, one room with 2 singles beds, and the other room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Nice pool, easy access to the centro. Breakfast was ok. Parking available. Problems only with mosquitos in the garden but the rest, nothing. Recommended.

We wanted to get out of Rio for the weekend, so we rented a car and drove 3 1/2 hours east to Buzios. We had found a decent price on this little boutique hotel a week earlier. June and July are the low season, so it's much easier to find hotel rooms last minute. It's a bit tricky to find at first, because it's located in a neighborhood that is filled with other small hotels, all of which could be mistaken for houses at first glance. We got there before the check in time, but the manager was kind enough to let us check in early. Tip: If you get there around 12-1pm, you might get lucky and get one of few parking spots available off street. I think it has 10-12 rooms. The rooms are modern and very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was nice, but a bit odd since the bathroom window is in the shower and looks into the small courtyard where all the guests pass through. The shower itself was amazing! Very high pressure! We where only there one night, but took multiple showers, because the water felt so good. Our room had a Jacuzzi tub out back, and we made use of it, even thought it was raining a bit that evening. Very relaxing. Our friends room did not have a Jacuzzi, but had a nice patio area with decent view. Breakfast was exceptional for such a small hotel. Lots of fresh local fruits and breads. Are friends are from Brazil, and also approved the food, saying it was a more authentic that what you would get from a hotel chain. Hotel does not have pool, but shares one with the hotel across the street, where there is also access to the main road that leads to restaurants and the town center. It's a ten minute walk to the town center along a quaint boardwalk. Overall, nice choice for a relaxing change of pace on your Brazil trip. I would stay there again.

I liked this little hotel. Personal and nice service. Despite my limited Portuguese, we managed to get everything we asked for. The rooms are not very large but well disposed. Some of the rooms are equipped with private jacuzzi on the terrace. The breakfast was fine. The hotel is well located if you want to hang out on Orla Bardot and some 10 minutes walk to the closest beach and to the center.

Pousada Dos Buzios offers a charming and tranquil retreat in the heart of Búziosl. This small boutique hotel blends rustic charm with modern comforts, providing a cozy base for exploring the picturesque peninsula. While it may not boast the luxurious amenities of larger resorts, it compensates with its intimate atmosphere and super warm service. LOCATION: The pousada's location is one of its strongest assets. Situated just a short walk from the famous Rua das Pedras, guests can easily access the vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and shops that make Búzios famous. Many beautiful beaches are within walking distance or a quick taxi ride away. However, the hillside position means you might find the walk back to the hotel challenging, especially after a long day of beach-hopping or a night out in town! DINE + DRINK: The hotel's breakfast is served in a charming outdoor area. It came with a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order eggs. However, the pousada lacks a full-service restaurant for lunch and dinner, which might be inconvenient for some folks. The small bar area provides a cozy spot for evening drinks, but the selection is limited compared to larger hotels. ROOM: We stayed in a Room called TUCUNS, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet view of the Greenery (No water view!) from the lovely balcony attached to the room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Ok quality toiletries. FACILITIES: No Gym on site, they have a small swimming pool in the annex building SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to the lady at the front office who made our welcome experience wonderful with an excellent coffee! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
