The Hotel is nice, the staff are friendly (some too friendly.. rsrsrs), the breakfast is ok, the rooms are big and most of them with a sea view. I think it is a bit pricey for what the hotel offers, but it was a nice stay. You definitely need to go with a car (they have car parking space) because all restaurants are about 30-minute-walk from the hotel and the surroundings are not so good to go on foot if you don't know the region.

Is a simple and nice location hotel, the pool is small but clean, the rooms are clean too, no major wear on in the rooms, the air condition is small so so it take a little time to cool down the room, but once is all climatized is cool enough. The restaurant is decent, like any other beach hotel in Rio is OK, food is eatable, don't expect good service, that is something that any beach hotel I have seen in Rio de Janeiro State is good at, sloww and hard to get the message to what you want / expect regardless if you speak the language is very common to happen, my advise is to get a good bite in the Buffet breakfast and eat outside the hotel for the rest of the meals. Key to any hotel here in Brazil is to be nice and try to talk the same language to the servers, so bring your own dictionary, try to speak the language and smile to them, this way you can get the best of what they can do. The beach is few meters away infront of the hotel and is nice and clean, water in a normal good day is cristal clear so no need to go anywhere else, my 7 yrs old daughter enjoyed, also there are a couple of restaurants on the beach so you can get serviced while you take a dive, note that the most popular way peolpe in the state of Rio de Janeiro ( Buzios, Arraial do Cabo, Paraty and Angra do Reis) to get a tan is by laying down a towel on the sand and relax on it, there are no reclinable beds that you can rent, there are only reclinable chairs ( they don't unfold flat) and beach umbrellas, so that is why the restaurants have both ( chairs are note reclinable in Arraial do Cabo), so you can spend the hole day on the beach but seating on a restaurant chair. The hotel is nice, in front of prainha beach. which is supposed to be great but this is beach is not for little children because its very windy. The breakfast is wonderful, but the smell is not, in the breakfast lounge there is a weird bathroom smell.Like Pee. The wi-fi is horrible. The staff is ok, they doesnt really help with anyhting. Only check in and check out. Unfortunatelly we didnt have a great experience. Too bad they in a place that are for tourists they do not speak one word in english. I was fortuned that i am a brasilian. So i could connect with them.
