“Charming, best hotel in Petropolis.”
Lovely heritage hotel, renovated in 2006. Good size rooms with soaring ceilings. A little worn, but not enough to matter. Wonderful atmosphere and service. “Excellent Staff”
This property has its indiosyncrasies and stumbles, but the caring and helpful staff more than make up for its peccadilloes. Thank you to Jane for her professionalism, and helping me to arrange airport transportation; Carlo for his hospitality; and Lilou for going the extra mile.

“Fabulous Spa massage as a resident or not and fun afternoon tea to follow.”

“Wonderful breakfast experience!”
Marcos offered wonderful, well informed, kind service at a memorable breakfast! His English is excellent, and he was very helpful in helping us plan our day visit to his fine city. The buffet is marvelous with beautifully prepared offerings. The chef is serious, and it shows.
