“Near little British, but mostly The Beatles, themed hotel.”
Neat little hotel, leans heavily into a Beatles theme. Easily walkable to central Penedo. Staff is nice, doesn’t speak much English so make sure you can handle basic Brazilian Portuguese. I don’t take any hotel as 5. But the Britannia would deserve a six, if it was possible. Located in a charming area near the center of the beautiful Penedo, it is really a piece of art. Britannia was formerly runned by an english man and is totally decorated and with a tipycal british atmosphere! The new owners kept it and for sure added a warm Brazilian reception to the guests. “Nice, but not perfect”
Good reception, nice amenities including a very inspiring breakfast with harp musician and cakes produced internally. Also has sauna and great living space.
