“Nothing especial”
Old style Mercure in Curitiba. Large rooms apartment style, with a lot space that you are not going to use and small spaces where you need them. Functional, but cold and unappealing. Good breakfast, though.

“Good, but it could be better”
Good location. Breakfast is ok and the room service is efficient. The rooms are confortable. There are two things that could be better: TV remotes do not work and the cleaning leaves something to be desired (towels and soap were not replaced when needed).

“Strictly functional”
Unfortunately someone thought it was a good idea to find the best “value” hotel for my stay this time in Curitiba. Now, if I were strictly trying to get a decent’s night of sleep this would have been ok. But I needed to work in relative comfort and not feel overly cramped. Surely won’t be back.
