“Probably the nicest hotel in Ponta Grossa”

I have stayed twice here for business staying 3 weeks each time. The hotel is clean up to date and everything works. There is no air conditioning in the lobby or halls but the rooms have a A/C - heat unit that works fine. Ponta Grossa never gets too hot and they keep the doors open. The beds are not up to american standards but they are clean and I did sleep ok. The shower is big. The rooms on the side facing the street can be a little loud with traffic. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of fruit, cheese, cakes and fresh orange juice. They only speak Portuguese, no english, but they try very hard to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. The maids never missed a day cleaning my room and they even folded the shirts and jeans I had left on the bed and arranged my shoes. I used room service several times but since nobody speaks english, it didn't work very well. They have a room service menu in english so I would just take it down to the desk and point to what I wanted and they got it for me. The room services prices are very reasonable. I didn't use the pools but I did spend time relaxing in their courtyard and by the pool and it is very nice. They have some self parking, or if you want, they will park your car for you and there is no charge for this. The area around the hotel looks a little run down but it is safe. I walked down the streets at lots of different times of the day and always felt safe as I was looking in shops and shopping for food and other things. Even after it gets dark families were out walking around. If you have to be in Ponta Grossa for an extended time, this is where you want to stay.

“Good price, clean hotel, best in town”

Good servers, always parking available, breakfast with fresh fruit, very small gym, it is for business. Rooms facing the street are noise for traffic. Front desk employees only speak Portuguese, do not speak English.

This hotel has a not so central location , but still not far from downtown. The 3 stories building holds 2 for apartments, I have stayed in a lux room, which has a good space, a queen bed and a work desk in the corner, the a/c it's an old (but working) wall kinda noisy , carpeted floors and a nice spacious bathroom, the amenities in the shower suck. The bed it's average where you can have a decent night of sleep, the room lacks of outlets it's very annoying, there is no outlets in the bed side . The hotel has two pools , game room and a gym, the gym has very old equipment so don't count on running or cycling or doing anything actually . The service it's average . Overall an average experience.

“Great change from other hotels in the area. Very good”

Arrived expecting the usual small town hotel. What a great surprise to find a new hotel with great indoor and outdoor pools clean room and passable food.
